The dolphin activities in Dolphin Bay are very popular, so ask staff about the most open times for playing with these beautiful, intelligent creatures.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in.

Top notch service. Staff where very friendly & couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely go back there. We got a great deal with[...]. The most relaxing holiday I have ever been on. The dining out in the Hotel was a bit dear but we expected that & didn't mind paying because the service was brilliant & the food was lovely. We only went outside the Hotle twice to the Mall & the food was obviously a hell of a lot cheaper but it was more relaxing staying in the Hotel & eating there.

The Palm Atlantis - a destination itself

We were welcomed from the moment we opened the car door and were continually greeted with smiles and appreciative staff until the moment we left. There was a great selection of restaurants and with the water park, aquarium and dolphin adventures all close at hand we felt really at the right place. All of this great service and amenities come at a price, so be sure you are able to enjoy this level of service. $$$-$$$$$

The water park is right out the back door and with unlimited access you can come and go as much as you want. Keep in mind that the sun is right over head in the summer and you can get sun burned in a hurry.

Atlantis the Palm really is the 8th Wonder of the World

I have stayed at hotels all over the world and this has to be one of the best - staying at this hotel isn't just a holiday its spectacular! The service is fantastic, the food great and the rooms are fabulous. If you get a chance pay extra for the Imperial Club rooms as you get breakfast, afternoon tea, all day snacks, free WiFi and free drinks (inc cocktails# between 6 and 8p.m. You also get free access to the kids clubs #there are two a teen club and a one for younger kids#. If you get a chance also try a trip to Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World #also booked on e-bookers) - the view of Dubai and Yas Marina from the seaplane were fantastic and we are still recovering from going on the fastest roller coaster in the World at Ferrari World. Expensive but if you want a resort experience then this is the best place to stay in Dubai especially if you have kids as you can go to Aquaventure every day. We will be going again!

Great for children

The room was good, the bathroom opened up to the bedroom, nice comfortable bed. View from the room was fabulous. We paid extra to upgrade to the Imperial tower. This gave us breakfast, a good buffet choice. Also afternoon tea but can't comment on that as we did not have it. Appetizers and cocktails in the evenings which was like a meal in itself and fast flowing drinks. Only thing that was not good for us was that it was geared up for children and lots of them. Not great for a couple wanting a nice romantic evening. We found this to be the same for a meal in the French restaurant. The water park and the Chambers were great, the aquarium is fantastic. Staff members were very pleassant and helpful. Think this hotel is ideal if you have kids with you but I wouldn't stay again because it was not geared for adults only really.

Brilliant - but hidden charges

fantastic for activities (Water park, dolphin bay, spa, aquariam, shops etc) and amazing location (sea, view, pool, easy to get downtown) and lovely room. All staff very helpful and polite. My only criticisms would be: 1. No free WiFi in the rooms (charged you £20 a day!) - this is way behind the times. All hotels have free WiFi these days. As did all the other hotels we went for dinner in. Shocking. 2. Tried to 'upsell' us at every point and over-serviced. Need to listen to our requests and deliver, rather than try and change our minds to buy more. And in shops, just leave us alone. We're here to browse and relax. However, would definitly go back!!

Too big to be really exclusive

Atlantis positions itself as a luxurious and exclusive hotel but it is simply too big to be exclusive. Pools are overcrowded and so is the reception, the lobby and the restaurants, which also are overpriced for the quality of food. The hotel beach is on the inner side of the Palm, which means water is stale and sometimes even smelly. On the positive side are free access to the water park and The Lost Chambers aquarium, which is something special by quality of its exhibitions and variety of fish. Staff is polite and attentive. Rooms are spacious and clean. I would recommend going there if there is a deal. Paying the full price would be difficult to justify.
