Mily's Dubai vacation

The location was below average, pretty far from everything. About 35$ from to and from airport with no traffic, no free wifi unless you booked direct from the hotel or pay about 25-30$ a day. The food and drinks is all over price.

Amazing anniversary trip

My husband and I stayed at the Atlantis for three nights over the may day bank holiday to celebrate our eighth wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing! The staff there are very attentive and genuinely want you to have a fantastic experience. We went for a terrace imperial suite which was truly amazing, lots of space, huge comfortable bed, bathroom, separating dressing area and a fantastic balcony overlooking the ocean - a view you could never get tired of! With imperial site you get breakfast, snacks all day, afternoon tea and cocktails / bar snacks at night which was ample, no need for an evening meal really. The pools and beach were all lovely too, with regular cold flannels and ice pops on the beach to keep cool! A truly magical experience for couples and families like!

Not worth the money

Staff are absolutely horrible. Stayed twice. Both experience was not good. aqua adventure is nice. Bars are ok. Good is good and the rooms are nice, but not for the amount of money you pay for the overall experience.

Half Term Family Trip

Terrific hotel, although expensive. Took 7 and 5 year old boys for the second year running who thought the water park, children's area and aquarium beyond wonderful. We had interconnecting rooms which made babysitting easy and the rooms themselves were large, pleasant and well equipped. The main restaurant has great choice but is expensive for eating all the time. Taxi's are cheep though and a trip to The Dubai Mall with it's great range of restaurants is an easy alternative. Although there for the second time we still found new things to do, dinner in the desert, top of the Burj Khalifa and an evening stroll round justly named, Miracle Gardens. Dubai is one of my favourite cities - sit in a marina cafe and people watch, could never tire of it.

good for families bad for young couples

Wifi is 33 US per day which I thought was a bit much being that most hotels/restaurants in Dubai have free wifi when we would go there for dinner or drinks. Most of the attractions are about a 20 minute cab ride at least so its easy to rack up a lot of money in cab fares. Its good for people with kids because you get free admission to the waterpark and aquarium. The person that cleaned our room everyday was very nice. We will not be coming to this hotel again but will be visiting Dubai again and likely will stay in the Downtown area.

Relaxing with the family

The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. The aquarium was beautiful and very well maintained. This was a highlight for my kids. My only negative comment is that I've stayed at 5 star places all over the world. Relative to other 5 star resorts, this place is expensive relative to the return. I've now been to Dubai, but probably won't return. There are too many other great places to go for the same money. My other comment to the hotel...in this day and age, it is petty not to include free WiFi in your room, especially at a 5 star resort.
