Al Murooj Rotana - Dubai

The hotel was ok. The location was pretty good...but in order to get to the mall you have to cross some busy streets. I would not stay here again because when I tried to go eat dinner at Mawal Restaurant in the hotel, I was turned away because they were "booked for the night". Clearly they were not even close to full capacity and I felt like they just didn't want me to come in their restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic, I spend over 200 nights a year in hotels and this is always one of my favorite places anywhere in the wold to stay!! The amenities are top class and if you need to switch off there's more than enough places here to do so! The staff are always extremely friendly and efficient, particularly Elvira on the front desk!! Looking forward to my next visit.

Sitting at the pool each day to hear only screaming children and the renovations with drill parts going all the time and the continuous noise of stone masonry work going on intermittently and the continuous playback of music being blasted in your ears while one is trying to read ones book or just to chill out, was to put it rather blankly so annoying. I would not stay at this hotel again, not really recommend for my age group really for peace and quite. And the disco blasting out at the Doubles Bar on a Friday, not my cup of tea-reminds me of England!!

We just loved the service at Al murooj rotana. Service was excellent and the hotel was fantastic. Would go again a thousand times.

having been in dubai on a few occaisions prior to this visit, always for work, i picked this hotel based on both its location and reviews. i can say i was not let down on either count. right from the word go, no request or question was too difficult. i think my partner had thought that she had died and gone to heaven. would i go back? yes, certainly. would i recommend this hotel, without any hesitation. one tiny wee negative comment, free wifi would have been a nice added extra.

Great hotel at a great location. The Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa are just a short walk away. We spent 3 nights here on our way back to the US from India. We arrived at 8am on our check-in day and the front desk managed to get a room ready for us by 10am (even though the check-in time was not until 2pm). The staff is very friendly and it gives a personal touch when people call you by your name. The service is excellent. The pool area is a good place to spend the afternoon and have a couple of drinks. They also have a couple of good restaurants in the campus. Would recommend Zaika. The rooms are comfortable and in good condition, and have almost everything you need during your stay. I think the internet and the breakfast are a bit highly priced and should be complimentary for the price you pay for the rooms. Overall an awesome stay!

Loved Loved Loved this beautiful hotel. The buffet was excellent, the staff were very friendly, The pool was fabulous, the location was great about five minutes from the Dubai Mall. The hotel again I must say was picture perfect. They cleaned our rooms twice a day. They were fantastic! I would highly recommend a stay here. We stayed for two nights in January for less that 400 dollars. This hotel and the service was a dream.

I had a great experience at the Al Murooj! The service is friendly, the food is fantastic, nice pool and gym, and many sites are within walking distance (Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall). The internet connection is a bit flimsy and the hot water in the shower is hit or miss (I stayed in two different rooms at the Al Murooj, so it wasn't just the problem of one room), but other than those minor problems, I had a fantastic stay.

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The amenities were pretty basic. The location was great, so that made the stay worth it. If I were to return to Dubai, however, I'd probably look for a more trendy hotel.

Good location, excellent value, friendly staff. Great looking hotel.
