fisrt holiday in dubai
having been in dubai on a few occaisions prior to this visit, always for work, i picked this hotel based on both its location and reviews. i can say i was not let down on either count. right from the word go, no request or question was too difficult. i think my partner had thought that she had died and gone to heaven. would i go back? yes, certainly. would i recommend this hotel, without any hesitation. one tiny wee negative comment, free wifi would have been a nice added extra.

Honeymoon
This is A very luxurious hotel with an accomodating staff. The onsite facilities and dining were excellent. Hotel is located in the center of most attractions which made it easy to see many places. We enjoyed our honeymoon stay here.

Great Hotel, Great Location
We stayed at the Club Rotana level. The service and amenities were excellent. Full Breakfast and afternoon cocktails and snack were included at Club level. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is located on a busy intersection, the pool area, restaurants (many with outside seating), playgrounds, were all located away from the street, so they were very quiet and peaceful.

Short walk from hotel
The Dubai Mall (called the worlds largest mall, by some) is located across the busy intersection only a short walk away. You can find most upscale/designer stores there and is an interesting place to see. Prices on everything are 10-30% higher than in US so don't go there for the "bargains". There is an ATM, super market and pharmacy on the backside of the hotel complex where you can buy most items (except alcoholic beverages).

"Unbeatable location for the price"
In Dubai on business, the hotel was very nice. Upon arrival, my room had two twin beds instead of one king. Other than slow internet connection everything else was great!

In Hotel
If you book a room there during a sale or promotion it would be worthwhile to book the upgraded room that includes internet and breakfast. As the breakfast is $30 a day, and to pay to get internet in your room is about $150 for one week.

Best choice you can make
After numerous trips to Dubai and several stays at this hotel I have gotten to pretty much know the city and the hotel choices available. For the service, price and location you would be hard put to find a better home away from home. Being a Club Rotana member adds to the benefits of a caring staff, great rooms and location. You could spend more at one of the spa hotels but Al Murooj will remain my choice.

Very good hotel, the room is spacious
Very good hotel, the room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is also very enjoyable ! The location is perfect : just a 5 minute walk away from the Dubai Mall.

Excellent stay
I stayed at this hotel with my wife and son and they loved it. Hotel is across the street from Dubai mall so you can walk instead of taking a taxi. At night you can walk around the water-falls and see burj-khalifa at night. Staff was extremely nice. We stayed in the club room which included access to the rotana club as well as daily breakfast which was full of choices. Rooms were clean (almost new like), and the view was nice-we were facing the pool side.

Stay in the club room which will give you sumptuous breakfast plus afternoon and evening snacks on the 14th floor lounge. If you plan your day well you can get a lot of good free food.

Fantastic getaway
