Good service, nice personnel

Spent 2 nights and used the facilities for informal meetings. Attentive and kind service personnel. The fish market restaurant is an experience not to miss. You choose your fresh fish and seafood and they prepare it the way you want with your choice of sauces, etc. Somehow pricey. If your accommodation does not include breakfast, make sure not to have a coffee at the breakfast room: you pay US$ 35 for the coffee!

Married couple left kids at home

This hotel is the oldest in the area but is still very good, unfortunately we booked during Ramadan which meant most of the restaurants were closed so i can only review the belgian cafe. The food in the cafe in our hotel was excellent i suggest the tenderloin steak which was the best i have ever had. There is also a fantastic selection of beers from Belgium but they were at least £8 a pop so bring your credit card. The staff were very friendly and the concierge was extremely helpful but unforunately most of the trips we could have done were closed during Ramadan. The hotel was spotless and cleanliness is obviously a priority for them. The beach is undergoing some work to improve it, but i found it very quiet and extremely relaxing, buy some beach shoes to wear into the sea as the sand is boiling, although it was quite amusing watching people try to negotiate the sand on their way to the sea. I would also try the Nahaam restaurant at the nearby Jumeriah towers as the food was superb. The marina mall is the best for shopping but is quite expensive, but not very far away in a taxi.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Avoid going during Ramadan if you like a drink or want to see a lot of the various attractions that Abu Dhabi has to offer as during daylight hours most things are closed. Try Nahaam restaurant! short walk from hotel.

Excellent Service, Excellent Experience.

Celebrating our 25th anniversary, we needed a nice and luxurious place to spend our time together, but at the same time away from the hassle of the everyday life in a city like Dubai. Intercontinental Abu Dhabi was the perfect getaway.
