Kiev had 25C below zero. But that was outside. Extra heating and outer doors closed did my stay pleasent. Location of this hotel is perfect. Perfect "basecamp" in the heart of old city/centrum for whatever you want to do in Kiev. This was my second stay at this hotel, and it wont`t be the last.

Dnipro 12 nights
I stayed at the Dnipro for 12 nights. My first night was in the Economy Room, which lacked comfort and was very basic and crude. I upgraded to the standard room for the remaining 11 nights and the room was very nice. Location of the hotel couldn't be any better, right across from the parks, and downtown near the shops and square. The staff was excellent, as also room cleaniness, and free breakfast buffet.

Met my fiance' in Kiev
It is what it is.
Location, breakfast, foyer all seriously top notch. Front desk service is typical Ukrainan, which means that as an American I get better service at Denny's. Rooms are 1 star. I have never purchased the services of a crack hooker but if I did this is what the hotel room would look like. Price was ok. I will try elsewhere next time.

You get what you pay for
Lower priced hotel -- and you get lower results. Typical Kiev = Million dollar lobby, 10 cent rooms, staff seems to take joy in saying 'No' and 'your booking is not eligible for virtually everything you request" ---- Nice breakfast

Business Travel to Kiev
Good hotel with great location
The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown, at European Sq. Its location is perfect. It's clean and comfortable. The only drawback is that its WiFi became not for free.

The right place
The location is ideal - right on the European square, close to the center of Kiev and also close to its favorite parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I took an economy suit which was above average by European standards (had TV and private bathroom). My room was a little warm because the AC was not working well and parts of the hotel show its age.

Hotel Dnipro Review
On this trip *I stayed at eleven diffrent hotels. The Dnipro was the most over priced even at the reduced rate and was like something out the l920s. Would not stay there again.
