Grace Bay Paradise

We loved our 4 night stay at West Bay Club! We were greeted with rum punch at check in and a tour of the property. The location is the best on Grace Bay Beach. Located directly on the area with the most beach space! Snorkeling was great. Bight's Reef to the right for a very short walk, and the better Smith's Reef to the left, a bit longer walk. The beach staff rock! They will get you set up on paddle boards, hobie cats, or kayaks. Snorkels, fins and masks are available. Location is great! Tip: I would rent a car so you can get to some local restaurants and explore a bit. The resort is quiet and does not have pool service; that was not important to us.

Luxurious yet laid back

Our trip started out on the right foot when, upon departing the airport, we were quickly ushered to the West Bay Club shuttle. There was no stress of finding a taxi. We were delayed 2 days by a storm but they allowed us to extend our trip to compensate us, which was great professional service. We were also upgraded to an incredible one bedroom suite, which far exceeded our expectations. The room was immaculate each day, the cleaning crew is stellar. They help you book all your excursions. We did the sunset cruise with Sail Provo and really enjoyed it. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect relaxing vacation!

Our room was beautiful and was extremely spacious! Staff went the extra mile to make our stay exactly what we wanted. The hotel is within walking distance to a few restaurants and isn't as crowded as the other parts of Grace Bay. Beautiful resort!

Amazing Experience

They offer a special if you stay three nights you get the third night free. We booked this rate and received a very small room with a king size bed. We asked for an upgrade which was a one bedroom suite definitely worth the upgrade price. Ocean beautiful...restaurants within walking distance. They only have one restaurant/bar on the premises. But the food was excellent. The staff could not have been any nicer and aim to please. You must go to Bugaloos an amazing experience for outside dining under the palm trees. We are looking forward to our next visit there.

Excellent resort on Grace Bay

West Bay Club is located on the western edge of Grace Bay, away from most of the other beachfront resorts on Grace Bay. We really enjoyed this location, because it's significantly less crowded and during the low season, you will only see a few people on this stretch of Grace Bay, which is great if you want to play in the water or just sit and relax on the beach. Most of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and eager to help.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

Eating out in Provo for every meal can get expensive. If you have access to a kitchen (or kitchenette), you can try to buy your own grocery or prepared food at IGA Graceway or Graceway Gourmet, both of which are big supermarkets (with the same owner) a short drive away from West Bay Club. Graceway Gourmet also offers a great lunch special (a main with two sides) for $10-$15 everyday of the week.

West Bay Club Exceeds Your Expectations

Absolutely wonderful! Perfect setting - we could not have asked for more. The beach was exceptional and the staff was attentive. Let me give folks several pieces of advice: 1) Rent a car - you will be so glad that you did. Just pay attention since you have to drive on the opposite side of the road. 2) Buy alcohol at IGA and a cooler - take that to the beach . Two drinks were $30. 3) Upgrade to a 1 bedroom. Studios are extremely small. 4) Animal lovers can foster dogs for three hour intervals at Potcake K9 rescue in Salt Mills. These folks are doing wonderful things. All donations are greatly appreciated. 5)The best burger on the island is at Big Al's at Salt Mill - tasty and affordable. 6) Expect to pay a lot for groceries since everything is imported. A box of Frosted Flakes was $6. 7) The Banofee dessert at Magnolias is awesome and the view from the restaurant is gorgeous. 8) Grace's Cottage is the best fine dining experience that we had during our visit. 9) Best pizza was Bella Luna but fair warning they charge you $2.50 for each Diet Coke - no free refills and 10) The coral reef in front of Coral Gardens is a must see! The fish were beautiful!

Perfect for early career vacationers

This place was perfect for me and my wife on our honeymoon. You cannot beat the price of the rooms compared to other resorts. Obviously, some amenities were given up due to that fact. The location was absolutely perfect and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I am an explorer, so I would never pay for it all inclusive. I paid the extra money to rent a car, go to any restaurant on the island we wanted to. My only gripe was the outdoor restaurant, which is new, didn't seem it had too much to offer.... The inside restaurant had the highest priced drinks on the island... Other than that, it was probably the best place we could have picked for us.
