The Ocean Club West Resort boasts deluxe, all-suite condominiums along gorgeous Grace Bay Beach, rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Equipped with the amenities of a tropical beach resort, the resort also offers the convenience of fully equipped condominiums. Guests of the property share amenities with its sister property about a mile away, and there is a shuttle service between the two. Nearby activities include golf and water sports. - Junior Suite
- Spacious suite featuring a large, screened-in, private porch or balcony. Two sets of sliding glass doors span the width of the suite providing natural light and views of the ocean, garden and pool. Open concept floor plan has a king-sized bed in bedroom area, living area with plenty of seating (some include a sofa bed*), flat screen cable TV, breakfast bar, and fully equipped kitchen (oven & range, sink, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, cooking/dining ware). Other features include en-suite washer/dryer, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, and in-room safe. All junior suites are 900 square feet. *If sofa bed is needed and not available a roll-away bed will be provided at no extra charge.
- Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite
- Large open living space features a sitting/living room area, dining area, breakfast bar, and a fully equipped kitchen (oven & range, sink, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, cooking/dining ware). Space opens to the expansive, private, screened-in, porch or balcony - offering views of the ocean, garden and pool. Two separate bedrooms each have en-suite bathrooms. Master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, cable TV, and safe. Second bedroom includes two twin-sized beds (convertible to a king-sized bed), and cable TV. Other amenities include flat screen cable TV (located in the living room), washer/dryer, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, and additional powder room (two full bathrooms and a half bathroom). All two bedroom suites are 1,600 square feet.

All one bedroom suites are 1,200 square feet. The Suite sleeps up to 4 people, most suites include a queen sofa-bed, if sofa bed is not available a roll-away will be provided at no extra charge.

- Studio Suite
- Comfortably intimate suite with private balcony, king-sized bed, sitting area, flat screen cable TV, equipped deluxe kitchenette (including stove top range, sink, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, cooking/dining ware), ceiling fan, air-conditioning, washer/dryer and in-room safe. All studios feature an island view and are 400 square feet. This suite provides a cost-efficient vacation option.

Grocery store is very expensive on the island. I always pack cereals, protein bars, meds just in case someone gets sick, etc...pack stuff if you can to avoid the costly expense on the island ;)

Great Time
Ocean Club West is a very nice property and in a great location. Also family friendly resort. Very nice beach, as well. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a junior suite (nice size for two) which overlooked the pool and had a nice view of the ocean. The screened-in porch was fantastic and was a great place to start and end the days. The resort is a 5 minute walk to the grocery store or you can use one of the resort bikes to ride to the store.

There are not a lot of stand alone restaurants. Most of the restaurants are located at different resorts which are short cab rides from Ocean Club West.

Great getaway spot
Fantastic location right on Grace Bay Beach with direct access and a very nice pool and bar/restaurant just a few feet from the wonderful beach. Staff was very helpful, nice selection of books and DVDs freely available. Rooms are spacious and have a kitchen, washer/dryer++. Absolutely recommended if you can get a reasonable rate.

First time to Turks & Caicos
The resort was not as nice as the ones next door. it does look dingy but all the resorts share the same beach. The beach was amazing. clean waters that you could see your feet and white sands. definitely heaven. from where i come from NYC, the closest thing to a beach is Jones beach and turks is amazing compared to jones beach. Id definitely recommend turks and caicos but if you want to sleep in luxury then ocean club west isnt for you. you're better off staying at seven stars resort. The staff was very professional. Anywhere I wanted to go they would book the reservation for me or call a taxi. The locals in turks are very friendly. overall if you like to explorer, you definitely should rent a car. the taxi expense would kill you.

WONDERFULY RUN PLACE
THE HOTEL WAS WONDERFULLY STAFFED. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND HUGE WITH EVERYTHING THAT YOU WOULD NEED. OPUS RESTAURANT AT OCEANS WITH FREE SHUTTLE WAS DELICIOUS. THE ONLY DRAWBACK HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH OCEANS. IT POURED FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT AND WE NEVER SAW ONE HOUR OF SUN!

Quiet pre-holiday bliss!
We had a great few nights right before Christmas. Occupancy was down, so no crowds which was just what we were hoping for (unlike Beaches just down the beach that was crawling with people). Not quite prepared for how cool it would be at night at the end of December, but the daytime temps in the 70s were great. The hotel/condo was great. Nice layout, everything was in good shape. The grounds are well maintained. The pool was not heated, so a little on the chilly side after the cool nights. Meals from the Seaside Cafe (on-site) were great, as were the daily drink specials. There was some shopping and other local restaurants within easy walking distance, so only needed a vehicle for 1 day to do a little exploring around the island. We're looking forward to a return trip!

Nice family hotel
We rented snorkeling equipment, took a sunset boat cruise..Turks and Caicos is beautiful, but expensive for off season.(Our trip was July 2010) If you rent a car this resort is fine. To do extra activities plan to spend money. If If you plan to do nothing but swim and sunbathe this is a great choice. Compared to Cayman and Barbados, Turks doesnt offer as much to do. A kids program would have been great. Frommers 2008 said there was one,but there was not.
