Great location near Ataturk Airport. Safe, clean, comfortable, shuttle service! The only downside I found was not enough ... food choices in or near the hotel.

The Radisson SAS Airport Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey was designed and built with an ultra-modern, sleek-line designl. It ... absolutely lacked any sense of warmth, ambience, or color. The staff was very professional and tried very hard to be serviceable, but the hotel really needs to be updated. It is ironic that in a country that is world-famous for its carpets that the Radisson SAS would have colorless carpeting that was stained and had big spill marks on them. It seemed that this hotel is installing carpeting that is lovely, colorful, and attractive. The prices were simply outrageous: $4.50 for a glass of tea, $12 for the Radisson club sandwich that was tasteless and was unfortunately the worst meal I had in Turkey. The location next to the airport was convenient for an early-morning flight, but I just could not stay here again. The room was large and adequate but very cold in style.
