Sophisticated hotel with good amenities close to main attractions
Hotel Prince Istanbul is in the old town district of Istanbul within walking distance of major attractions. An on-site restaurant serves breakfast buffet between 7am and 10am. During lunch and dinner, Turkish cuisine with an international twist is available at the restaurant with vegetarian, diabetic and children's menus available on request. Guests seeking relaxation visit the on-site Wellness Center for a Turkish bath, sauna or massage treatment. Guests can play billiards and chess in the hotel's recreation room, or a workout is possible in the modern fitness center. There is a laundry and dry cleaning service (fees apply). There are three meeting rooms available for corporate or social events. The hotel can arrange airport shuttles at an extra charge.

Solo Travel
Location was perfect in the Old City section of Istanbul. Super easy to walk to all the tourist attractions and tram line is right there to explore other areas. Airport shuttle was useful but slightly expensive (30 euros). Staff was efficient but not super friendly. Room had 2 twins instead of a single double and walls are super thin. Strongly recommend ear plugs due to this and the fact that there is a mosque very close and morning prayer calls can be very early.

A Great hotel for travellers
We arrived late, after a late flight, and were welcomed and able to get a delicious room service meal easily. Breakfasts was from a varied and invariably tasty selection, local restaurants, cafes and takeaways were great, and the hotel was about five minutes from everywhere. The area felt safe, and our experience was fantastic--will certainly return here if we're back in Istanbul!

Go to Sirkeci rail station, take two stops on the light rail to kumkapi, cross the street and have one of the finest seafood meals you've ever had at a local secret fish market--five great restaurants behind the stalls.

Istanbul Holiday
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They are quick in responding to our requests and complaints. The hotel is centrally located and accessible to major historical sites in the old city as well as shopping facilities.

Great location, great place
Very clean and nice hotel located in the perfect place. It is very close to the main historical sites but also far enough away to give you some local flavor. Easy to walk to public transportation but if you enjoy a stroll we pretty were able to walk anywhere we wanted to go. Very good gym (make sure you get it included your hotel booking, sometimes it is extra), great breakfast every morning, clean and big rooms.

Good hotel with reasonable 4 star
Good hotel with reasonable 4 star facilities. Experience with turkish bath was something new. I got this a part of the price of the room as also the lovely orange juice in the breakfast which otherwise is charged 2 euros extra.Old Istanbul is a city of narrow lanes hence the hotel location despite being in congested locality was OK. However I could not park my car there.

Good hotel
We were in Istanbul on business for 2 days and vacationed for 2 days. The Prince Hotel is located in the sight seeing area of old town. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and modern.

Short walk from hotel
Very convenient to public transportation, this helped reduce personal travel costs and time. Travel time from hotel to Airport combining tramvi, short walk between tram and metro station and the metro travel was only 1 hour, our cab to the hotel was almost 2 hours.

Nice place to stay for a quick trip
The hotel room was clean, the shower was great, and there was not much noise. The front desk staff was VERY helpful in making recommendations and travel suggestions. The breakfast was sufficient to get the day going...definitely try the fresh OJ too! The new spa is beautiful and very clean and services are relatively affordable to others in the area. The room I was in didn't have any view and I would have preferred that. It's a great location for visiting all of the old city and walkable to Galata Bridge and Eminonu ferry stops. It would have been nicer if it was more well lit or if the front was more accessible from the main drag.

Close to hotel along tram tracks is "Home Made"...had great food and excellent service. Short walk. For a longer walk and/or 10 TYL cab head to Istiklal Cadessi and eat at Refik!
