City center hotel near Istanbul's historic shopping area
The Prestige Hotel offers comfortable rooms and convenience to some of Istanbul's most famous sights. Well-intentioned not bad
Problem with wifi two nights; a little cold; rooms are small but ok; neighborhood is so-so at night; but easy tram and leisurely walk to main areas of city. Staff eager to please but more Russia than anglophone oriented. Breakfast buffet rather filling and varied, though juices were very industrial tasting. Laundry service high priced (as expected) but overdid chemicals, beware.

was the worest hotel i ever seen, was too loud couldnt sleep, was dirty, did not clean the room daily,the staff were not friendly

"Less than" Prestige Hotel
The picture of the hotel was very nice and it was the "recommended" hotel from [...]. Other than the friendly night staff, I'm still struggling to find a positive... The hotel air conditioning wasn't operational, but since it was in a loud section of town, you had to either open the window and deal with very loud conditions or live in a dirty sweat box. The bathrooms (we booked two rooms) were both dirty and water poured out of the toilet tank each time it was flushed. Don't book tours through the hotel. The day staff made up an excuse that each tour must pay for at least four people - and pay in cash. When on the tour, we coming to believe that the hotel staff pocketed the additional money.The advertised pool was closed and there was no where for our kids to hang out. We booked for 6 days through [...] and left after three days. It was better to be at home than to be stuck in this hotel for three more days...

Not very satisfied
The staff was unhelpful and unfriendly. Good location, but don't pay a lot for the stay. Wifi only in the lobby. Difficult to communicate. They say it's a four star, it is a low three.

Fenster war defekt. hatte spalt und lis sich nicht schliessen. mitten in der nacht war im hotel bauarbeiten. man hoert alles durch die waende. naja ausser das man net schlafen konnt war alles ok...
