Awesome location, great room, great breakfast
I really liked this hotel. The location was absolutely perfect to walk 3-10 minutes to the major sites (Hagia Sophia, blue mosque, hamami, Topkapi palace, grand bazaar). My room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and even had a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! The breakfast buffet was copious and awesome. They also served tea, coffee, and cakes in the late afternoon in the lobby, which was great. I didn't find the desk staff to be very helpful and one person gave me a terrible recommendation for a nearby place to grab a kebab. Luckily the next day I found a much better place. I got a great price, which made this stay 100% worth it!

Feel like a Sultan
This hotel made us feel like Ottoman Royalty, without being intrusive. The room was cleaned to the extent of folding our clothes. Breakfast was available from 7:30am til 10:00am but if you'd missed breakfast you were asked if you'd like breakfast to be prepared. Yasemin ensures your eggs are made to your taste whist Mahmut will ensure you have your tea or coffee. Necati will ensure you have your coffee on arrival of a ling day shopping or clubbing at any time. Servet and Cengiz are always on hand for any enquires

Feels like home :)
We spent an unbelievable time in Istanbul, staying at Lausos for 4days, 3 nights. Location - This is an awesome location, 5 minutes from the Blue Mosque, main road, Arasta Bazaar, Aiya Sophia, Sultanahmet Square, food places, etc.!!! Accommodation - The rooms were really comfortable and cleaned daily (I’m a germaphobe, so it was awesome to see that every nook and cranny was clean) a bit smaller than expected, though it was just a standard room. One of the staff showed us a couple of the other upgraded rooms, which had spectacular views of the sights, but a bit out of my price range... Food - YUMMY! We had breakfast at the hotel every morning, and it was really divine! Especially relaxing on the terrace, in the early morning sun. Staff - Whether it was checking in, checking out, getting breakfast, asking for recommendations, the staff at Lausos went over and above to assist. Services were available 24/7, whether you were returning from clubbing at 3am, and wanted a cup of tea, or whether you came back from a tiring day of exploring, and staff offering an invigorating cup of Turkish coffee. Staff were super friendly, and always pleasant. At the end of the trip, it was like saying goodbye to family. A specific thanks to Cengiz, Oskan, Yasemin, Mustafa Akdemir (I think that’s his last name; there are 3 other Mustafa’s!) for their warm welcome, and taking care of us. Amenities - The hotel has the basics, but it would have been great if they offered such facilities such as spa treatments, a pool, etc. It would have made those times we spent at the hotel more enjoyable. Understandably, the location may not be conducive to such facilities, but it is always something they could consider doing in partnership with one of the bigger hotels. Having said that, the terrace area was always really relaxing, and we even fell asleep in the sun a couple of times...

hotel très bien situé,vue sur la mosquée depuis la chambre.Climatisation/Double vitrage. Grande propreté.Très bon accueil chaleureux.Service impeccable. Petit déjeuner copieux avec buffet TB. Gouter avec jus d'orange et patisseries tous les jours. Connexion internet.

Zwei Wandervögel
Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Das kleine, familiäre Hotel liegt top, alles ist zu Fuss bequem zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein, aber sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht und bietet ihre Hilfe gerne an. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Personnel adorable
Voici un petit hôtel trés bien situé dans le vieux quartier touristique à 2 pas des principaux monuments. Trés calme, chambre un peu petite mais trés propre et surtout un personnel au petit soin pour ses clients

A deux pas de l'hôtel, en descendant la rue perpendiculaire à l'entrée; un petit restaurant qui ne paye pas de mine. Le patron discret est aimable. La table est bonne, les prix sont corrects.

l hotel lausos est vraiment tres bien situé au centre historique d istanbul , personnels avennants qui vous renseignent en francais sur la ville . la chambre est confortable avec une petite salle de bain bien equipée , et une bonne literie . bon choix pour le ptit dej , plein de choses a voir a istanbul, mosqués , palais , ballade sur le bosphore on a meme vu des dauphins preuve qu il n est pas si pollué , nous avons été enchantés de notre voyage
