Stylish hotel gives guests experience of living in an Ottoman mansion
Just blocks away from the Sea of Marmara, Dersaadet Hotel provides guests with a back-in-time experience. Fashioned after a 19th century Ottoman mansion, the wood front hotel is one of Istanbul's most budget friendly four-star hotels. Enjoy the daily buffet breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace which offers beautiful views of Old City and the water. The hotel helps guests stay in touch by offering a complimentary guest-use computer in free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel.

Wonderful hotel
It was our first trip to Istanbul and we wanted a hotel near the historic sights. This was it. From the breakfast buffet, you looked out on the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. The hotel was clean and the staff was more than helpful in directing us to sights and recommending restaurants. When we go back to Istanbul, this is where we are going to stay.

Dual travelers
a wonderful oasis
With the busy, noisy streets of Istanbul, it was wonderful to return to the lovely decorated, calm, smoke free environment to smiling greeters. We had a wine and rest in the little restaurant at the top of the hotel. It was all a lovely experience.

Oxford granny
A warm welcome in a beautiful city!
The Dersaadet arranged pick-up from the airport and we were given a wonderful welcome at the hotel by the owner and several staff members who were eager to give us information on hotel, Istanbul, things to do etc. This was given to us alongside complementary apple tea, fruit and turkish delight. We felt truly welcomed... the staff really could not have done more for us. Breakfast is served on a rooftop balcony overlooking the Marmaris - stunning! The hotel is very well located - we walked to all the major sights and felt we'd really soaked up the atmosphere of a truly beautiful city. We definitely recommend the Dersaadet.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
To see the most of the Bosphorus, ignore the short tourist-geared 'cruises', and take the full day #much cheaper# local ferry which gets you much closer towards the Black Sea, stopping at Anadolu Kavagi where there's great choices of fish restaurants.

Beautiful roof terrace, unfortunately closed at night time. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage
Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, hübsche Zimmer, sehr gutes Preis-Lesitungsverhältnis. Besonders schön war das (hamaminsprierte) Badezimmer und die Frühstücksdachterasse.

Ruhige Lage, sehr freundliches Personal
Das Hotel hat eine ideale Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt Istanbuls. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Vom Dachgarten hat man Blick auf die Blaue Moschee und das Marmarameer. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich, kompetent und um den Gast besorgt. Alles in allem ein ideales Hotel in Istanbul.
