Elegant and modern hotel caters to business and leisure travelers
Dedeman Istanbul focuses on the guest experience. The chic lobby sets the tone for a stay at the hotel. The lobby shines with highly polished marble and beautiful lighting against dark woods. Dedeman Istanbul is in the Gayrettepe district in the middle of the city. Public transportation makes it easy to travel to the rest of Istanbul. METRO STATION IS VERY NEARBY. THE TAXIS ARE EASILY AVAILABLE AT REASONABLE PRICE OUTSIDE HOTEL.

For Mall shopping, the best location
This is the 3rd time my wife and I have stayed here, and we always have had a great time. We pick this place for mall shopping as it is close to the 3 big high-end malls. Taking the train to Old Town is easy and fun from the Dedeman also, but entails a short taxi ride to the station. Of course all 3 malls require a taxi ride too. They have a great breakfast buffet and the staff is first class. Several nice restaraunts within walking distance and a grocery store nearby to replace what I took from the mini-bar was very helpful. After shopping with my wife the rooftop bar was a great place to decompress.

Short drive from hotel
Not a bad taxi drive from the airport or shopping malls,we never had the feeling like we were being driven around in circles. But the Dedeman documents the taxis you use in case you feel like you were taken advantage of or left something in the cab.

We arrived at the hotel and were put in a room on level 14. We were shocked at how bad the room was it was old, had stains on the floor, old furniture and the worlds smallest tv. The room would not have passed for a two stars anywhere else. We complained about the room and were moved to a level that was nicer but the whole experience was annoying and not what you would expect from a five star hotel. Furthermore the climate control did not work, very few of the staff were friendly, and they could not even perform the basic tasks like deliver a newspaper to the room in the morning. The breakfast was the only good thing about this hotely. YOU can and will find a better hotel.

From this hotel catch a cab to dolmabache palace and then get the train from there to other tourist places like blue mosque and the gran bazar

Dedeman Istanbul
The hotel was great and people are friendly. I think it is a true 5-stars hotel in Turkey in terms of services but compare to hotels in the US, it is a 4 stars. Food was great; I just wish they had more choices for the breakfast like more fruits and salads. In general, you can say they are 4.5

Short walk from hotel
Take a short walk to the metro and take the metro to Taksim Sqr and you will save $$$. I probably spent $ 300~ 400 on taxi since I went to alot of places for shopping. The best ones are Jevaher, Isteklaa street

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, das
Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel, das jeder Taxifahrer kennt. Super Swimming pool und Whirlpool. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage im Zimmer nur zu schwach. Empfehlenswert.
