Conrad Istanbul

The Conrad Hotel is a typical 5 star hotel, with all standard features. Concierge was vey helpful and waiters were extremely pleasant and attentive. Top service! Location is good, but not so close to the most important places to allow you to walk. My only problem was with the room - in the original room there was no hot water and therefore I was changed to another room. Unfortunately, the time spent between finding out the problem and getting the new room was too long and I missed a dinner due to that. No excuses received.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. As far as location there are better hotels however for the value it is worth it. We stayed on the Executive floor which was great as we had our own lounge overlooking the city and bosphorus and that was awesome. Plus the free snacks and breakfast was great. I definitely recommend staying on this floor. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that there are still smoking rooms and the smell travels. It should be all non smoking (Sorry smokers!)

the hotel was efficient and staff helpful. The amenties were inadequate for a highly rated hotel.limited restaurants and menus, few exceptional features, rooms had very basic comforts, wireless Internet was pricey as was room service and mini bar. This detracted from the experience. I would not recommend iras a five star but okay business hotel.

The location is very good and enabled us to easily connect to both the Asian and European sides of the city. The level of service was excellent at this hotel as we were unwinding after two weeks of busy conferences elsewhere in Turkey.

An excellent hotel and what you would expect from Hilton. The rooms are large and comfortable though the hotel is certainly not new. For the building's age it is still OK and I would strongly recommend this oasis in Istanbul.

If not wanting to stay in the Old Town area, this hotel provides an excellent option. Rooms of a good size and well laid out and appointed. Buffet breakfast excellent and well worth pre-purchasing. Close to waterfront and lots of eateries ranging from fast food to excellent, well priced local restaurants. Close to the Beyoglu area and the lively Taksim Square area (cheap taxi rides to ge get there).

Everything you can possibly want is in Istanbul and this hotel is in the heart of it. Easy walking distance to a lot of places but be warned about the taxis they will try and rip you off, ask the fare first.

The hotel was in an excellent location, close to the up and coming area of Besiktas and a short metro ride to the historical sites. The hotel was also spotlessly clean- however the positive ends there. Upon checking in we were told that our reservation did not include breakfast when it clearly did. The hotel refused to contact [...] and I had to go to the business centre of the hotel to access my account to prove breakfast was included! The staff at reception would not let me use their PC and refused to acknowlegde they had the booking wrong! Eventually they conceded breakfast was included but I did not get an apology. To add to this negative experience, I went to use the Business Centre again to check in for my return flight( at other 5* hotels in Istanbul this is happily done by the Concergie but not at the Conrad which charges a foutune for the internet) and I was ignored for about 5 minutes at the desk while the member of staff was on a phonecall. Again no apology and I was made to feel like a burden as opposed to a valued guest. Every morning at breakfast we had to explain that breakfast was included as this information had not been passed on- this got tiresome! Although the rooms were well furnished and very clean, I would never stay at the Conrad again- poor customer service.

An excellent hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were friendly & very helpful. Amazing "breakfast" views across the Bosphorus from the Executive floors.
