Be really sure you agree on a cab fare when you begin your ride. Some cab drivers were real jerks, but the rest were as nice as they could be so just take the time to agree on a price. You'll be glad you did.

We thought the hotel would be a big concrete building and could not be more surprised to find that it's a small, charming converted building conveniently located within walking distance to many "must-see" sites. The room is big enough for a family of four plus a small balcony with the view of Marmara Sea. We had dinner on the roof top with 360 degree view, sea breeze, flying birds, mosques, tiered buildings on the hills, and the sea. The food is excellent. One Wednesday morning, there's farmers market right outside the hotel. We got fresh peaches, strawberries, plums, apricots for 2 liras. The staff is friendly, very helpful and the service is good. We felt at home.

fantastic hotel and fantastic service!
great hotel in fantastic location only minutes from the blue mosque, haghia sophia and the topkapi palace. friendly staff, good food an great rooms. what else could one want? strongly recommended!!

Great Place!
Hotel is located in Old part of Istanbul within easy walking distance of the major sites. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and I definitely plan to go back

Be cautious of fish restaurants that bring fresh fish to your table and have you choose one---they tend to be VERY expensive.
