A modern property on the historic peninsula

Excellent Location and Service
There are so many hotels in Istanbul to choose from but I wanted something which was in the heart of activity and close to the tram. I walked about the areas in Istanbul and many hotels are on very steep cobblestone streets. Barcelo Satay is perfect if you are seeing the main sites. Restaurants are abundant and easily driven to via a cab. The room was very clean, modern and tastefully appointed. The front desk staff is attentive and friendly, the Haman a nice respite and many International guests were returning for their vacation visit. Definitely a good experience and a 4 star hotel with reasonable rates.

Short walk from hotel
Barcelo is directly across from the Grand Bazaar which is immense and can get overwhelming. There are numerous places along the street to find the same items at the same or slightly higher prices. Silver jewelry is more reasonable in the Bazaar.

Very friendly staff and great stay!
They let us check in early because we had our newborn daughter.Our first room had heat problems and after contacting the front desk they were very nice and switched us to a new room.They were very friendly and helpful...would stay there again.

excellent position just across
excellent position just across the street from the Grand Bazaar. Very friendly helpful staff and a wonderful hamam. Very good breakfast too. The only drawback is the fact that the windows opening on to the inner courtyard means there is no outside view and it was a bit noisy if you left the window open. Fine if you leave the window closed and have the air conditioning on. I would definitely recommend Barcelo Saray.

Top Lage in der Nähe des Grand Bazar
Ausgezeichnete Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss machbar. Gutes 3* Hotel, Zimmer zur Moschee hin sind etwas laut, Fenster müssen nachts geschlossen werden. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Taxi zum/vom Flughafen ca. Turkish Lira 45.

zentraler geht's kaum
das barcelo saray liegt direkt im herzen von istanbul's altstadt. zu fuss sind hier die wichtigsten sehenswürdigkeiten erreichbar, einschließlich die asiatische seite, ein öffentliches verkehrsmittel oder taxi war für uns nicht notwendig. vom großen basar kann man mühelos seine " einkäufe" zwischendurch nach hause bringen. das personal ist überaus freundlich und bei der rezeption äußerst hilfsbereit. bei unserem nächsten besuch werden wir wieder hier übernachten.

En face du Grand Bazar
Idéalement situé, à 2 pas du grand bazar, à 10 minutes à pied des principaux monuments, cet hôtel est a recommandé !! Petit bémol sur le petit déj... cher et de qualité (Très) moyenne.
