Pretty quiet neighborhood. I prefer this to the crowded, hipper neighborhood. Great access to public transportation. Really ... helpful, English speaking staff. Good inexpensive restaurants nearby. Good street food. If you need help with your cell phone, the Turkcell store up the street is really helpful and a couple of the people there speak English. The two negatives for me were the fact that the Internet never worked on my floor (it was fine downstairs) and it was really smokey. Nobody pays attention to the non-smoking areas. The bar was really bad, but good wine!

The hotel was located next to the tram which goes to all major tourist locations. The hotel also has a nice indoor pool. ...
