Great hotel as long as you do everything to prepare.

The food, pools, beach were perfect, and nearly everyone on the animation staff could communicate in English, Russian, German, and Turkish (especially English). We stayed in the main building on the fourth floor with a sea side view that was picturesque but, the bungalows towards the front of the property would have probably been just as nice, and any photo opportunities that we would have missed could have easily been taken from one of the open viewing platforms at the end of nearly every hallway. Each night at 9:30pm there is some type of family friendly show at their theather, the ones that come to mind are the magic show(actually decent, and allowed many of the children in the audience to particate in some of his basic illusions), the Brazillian dancers( show-girl style dancers and guys doing fire tricks with some pretty impressive acrobatics), the Turkish performing band, and something of a series of mini-skits by the animation employees(not exactly a Russian ballet in Moscow, but still very well done). I could go on and on about all the good things over the course of our seven days there but, it's better if you checked it out yourself. As for the bad, you're always getting hassled about getting massages or buying pictures (until you learn to use the elevator thats on the opposite side of where they make their sales pitch), there is no atm on the property (nearly every little shop takes visa but, the little merchants they bring in nightly as well as the boat tour/para-sail/wave runner company on the beach only take dollars/euros/lira, expect to pay about $100 for a taxi to/from the airport (the hotel is about 40km away in Belek), the rooms were kinda small with hard beds(by U.S. standards for size and comfort), the employees at the front desk were very kind but, didn't have any authority which forced you to deal with the hotel manager for anything more than a minor inconvenience, the manager also had trouble resolving and comprehending simple issues (the bank locked my card because of unusual activity, it took the manager 30 minutes to get approval from an unknown entity to make a collect call), when we decided to stay an extra night I was told by the manager that I would have to go through my "travel agent to do that" (we were finally able to pay for an extra night after a lengthily explanation about how this website isn't a travel agent) and at check-in the gentleman working the front desk couldn't comprehend (even with an itemized receipt) that the hotel would get my payment from the information provided to website so, we were double charged but had our money refunded the next day. Don't let my minor inconveniences keep you away though, it was a good experience overall, and wouldn't hesitate to go again. Think ahead of my problems, make sure your bank knows that you are traveling to Turkey, take about twice as much cash as you need to pay for everything, and you'll love this place.
