Hyatt Regency Trinidad

very courteous and well-mannered staff from the entrance to the check in desks. The amenities are central and well-organized. Everything were in placed and easy to manouver. Obtaining information about the surroundings for example, sightseeing, restaurants were clearly stated and documented in the room's booklets. The hotel and surroundings were impeccable. They also welcome any visiting guests and showed extended courtesy. Thanks to all at the hotel for making my stay feel like home away from home. Keep up the good work!

Pros: My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The room was very clean and updated, and everything was as expected. I did like the shower arrangement. The shower was the room devider with smoked glass on 3 sides. The bed was comfortable. only possible complain was the body pillow could have been slightly larger and softer but that is nit-pic'ing. The hotel is on the water and the Gulf can be very relaxing. Con's: The hyatt was very nice and is probably one of the best hotels in Trinidad. While I expected a quality 5 star hotel, I feel it was only a 4 star hotel. This is sometimes common in countries outside of the US, but still very nice. For Trinidad it was a little pricey but not too much so.

I stayed at the Hyatt last Christmas ,The stay was pleasant, I am a native to the Island but have lived in the US for the past 13 years.Upon returning to the island after so long. The Hyatt was a pleasant site ,situated in the perfect spot,Wonderful ocean views from our bedroom every morning, You can see the ferry that goes to Tobage from the hotel window.Hotel gym is average, Staff needs more knowledge of the island.No one knows where anything is .I was able to find places by memory and a map.Food at the hotel is over priced .

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, the staff was very hospitable and helpful, the view was amazing. We especially enjoyed the terrace and the inifinity pool areas. Food was great. It was not walking distance to other restaurants but staff made sure we had whatever transportation we needed and let us know fares in advance. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I spent seven days over the Christmas holidays in Trinidad at the Hyatt hotel. It was a great experience. I am already making plans for next Christmas. The hotel was beautiful, the ocean view was fantastic, the swimming pool looking over the ocean view was great. The food was excellent and the hotel workers was very friendly. Excellent choice for anyone wanting a fantastic stay.

Every time, the experience with this Hotel and it's staff just gets better. Truly worth recommending !

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The hotel is located 30 minutes from airport, and a taxi is $30US. The hotel charged an additional fee when I checked out, and staff was not able to explain the fees, so be prepared to pay an additional $25.00US when you depart.

Everyone I spoke with in the country mentioned this as being the best hotel in Trinidad. I tend to agree. It is fairly new with beautiful modern rooms with lots of space. The hotel is right on the ocean front. No beach just an ocean view. Wireless internet rates were about the same as in other hotels. I believe it was about $30 to $40 for three days of internet. Good bandwidth. The staff was very helpful and security seems very good. The only negative was the prices. While the room rate was decent for this hotel, the pricing of food and drink is exorbitant to say the least. Food quality was excellent though. The room had a tremendous shower, very comfortable bed, a chair with ottoman, nice office desk, large flat screen tv, roomy closet, dresser with mirror and a nice bathroom with toilet in a separate room with its own door. There is also an in-room safe. The elevators are state of the art. Nice lobby with plenty of comfortable seating, two bars, a snack and drink shop, and a restaurant. There is a pool on the fourth floor and they also have massage, exercise room etc., on I believe the second floor. The lobby was always busy with business people going about their business with clients. There is no airport shuttle. Taxi to airport during the day was $30, off-peak $45.00.
