With the accent firmly lying on tranquility, comfort and contemporary style, The Aspasia Phuket offers a choice of superior accommodation and facilities that includes restaurant, a wine and cigar shop, two swimming pools, a gymnasium, business centre, meeting room, high-speed wireless Internet access and spa. Original paintings and antiques are displayed in the spa, restaurant and lobby, complementing the style of decor. There is easy access between the twelve buildings and facilities forming the resort. The property is set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens, filled with colorful tropical planting. Perfect hotel

This hotel was wonderful! Kata beach might not be the least-touristy beach in Thailand and the little town close probably isn't the gem of SE Asia either but that did nothing to take away from the Aspasia Hotel. I paid for a regular room with a sea view and breakfast and got upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite. The private balcony gave us a fantastic view and the room itself was clean, modern and comfortable with anything that we might have needed. And I had inadvertently left $300 US on the counter one morning and was pleasantly surprised to see it when I returned. The Aspasia had also thrown in vouchers for a free dinner, which was fine, and a free couple's massage, which was perfect after a day on a motorbike. Oh, did I mention that they have a few motorbikes for rent? And it was hassle-free, no gimmicks or games about fuel levels or "new" scratches that we needed to pay for. The location might not be perfect for someone who can't/doesn't want to walk up a steep hill but if you want a hotel with a wonderful view overlooking the sea... well, you're not going to get that at sea level. And, most impressively, it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach or to the main road for restaurants or bars but it's far away enough to still be quiet and peaceful. Finally, the pool was nice, the staff attentive and polite, breakfast was great, and the price for all this was more than reasonable.

Lucky Tom's is the best restaurant in Kata (from what I sampled) and only a 5 or 10 minute walk from the Aspasia.

Nice, Quiet Spot in Kata - Good Sea Views & Good for Business Travelers

This was our second stay at the Aspasia in Phuket. Though I certainly would not classify it as a 5 star hotel, like they do, it serves our purposes very well. We stayed in a 1BR apartment with balcony - it gives us plenty of space which is important as we must work from the room while traveling. The Internet speed has been boosted significantly since last year when we were here - it's now a 30MBit connection and it's free. That's super important to us! The staff is courteous and there's a good buffet breakfast included, with made to order hot items and loose leaf teas. The hotel is located up a hill away from the activity and noise of the main Kata road but it's still within easy walking distance. And, we have a lovely sea view from the kitchen/living area and balcony. Those are the things we like. On the flip side, the building itself and the furnishings are a bit 'dated' and not 'luxury' by our standards but it's acceptable and the plusses make up for it for us.

Excellent! All the staff were

Excellent! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were awesome with terrific views. A bit of a hill climb to get down to Karon or Kata - so would recommend hiring motor bikes to get around.

Excellenter Service, Zimmer sehr

Excellenter Service, Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll und sehr geräumig eingerichtet, insbesondere Badezimmer, phantastischer Blick aufs Meer über Palmenwald. Kommen nächstes Jahr gerne wieder
