Lamai Inn is the 1st hotel of Lamai Group in Patong beach, Phuket. Lamai Inn was opened on November, 2000. Lamai Inn has 24 rooms with 2 types of room. There are 19 Deluxe rooms, and 5 Superior rooms. Deluxe room is a big room with Double bed. (A large bed) Superior room is a big room with Twin bed. (2 small beds.) Lamai Inn offers TV: Plasma 42" and a set of PC Computer with a printer in all guestrooms. So, the guests can use internet and the printer in the room for free.The hotel offers high technology to transfer information and multimedia by internet, Wi-Fi, and cable line between computer and TV. So the guests can look ant news, sport, movies, football, MSM, Yahoo, and Google at the computer while they are shown on TV also. All guestrooms furnishings are made from the teak wood in Thai Traditional Style. So, the rooms are so beautiful. All guestrooms with air-con, hot shower, private bathroom, glass windows, TV, refrigerator, mini bar, DVD player, hair dryer, safety deposit box, security electronic door key card. Lamai Inn offers Thai Massage, Foot Massage, Oil Massage, Fish spa+Foot Massage at Lamai Inn Massage Spa and Beauty Salon. The massage will make you relax, rest, and balance of soul and body. Lamai Inn offers a car/van transfer 24 hours between Phuket airport and Lamai Inn. But the hotel charge for THB.700 per 1 car per 1 way, and for THB.1,000 per 1 van per 1 way. Lamai Inn offer every service as Express laundry, Telephone, Fax, Internet, Tour information, Motorbike for rent, and taxi car. Hotel also offers dry cleaning, lobby and reception.

Hotel is rather near the beach,

Hotel is rather near the beach, the big shopping center (Jungceylon), Bangla street (area for pubs). Rooms are neat, clean with working facilities. Free internet station at lobby and free wifi in every room Only downside is the noise from the nearby pubs during the night. However of the 3 nights we stayed there, we were only bothered by it during 1 of the nights

Budget hotel, 5 min. to beach

Budget hotel, 5 min. to beach , shopping center and night life.Air conditioner,safe box on reception desk , free internet on reception.We where there 7 days and will stay again if we visit Phuket.

Basic place

The room had a malfunctioning electric water heater. The staff tried to help a couple times, but they could not solve the issue. Luckily it was partially operational so we could get hot water in spurts. Definitely would not recommend paying more than a minimal rate here.
