Duangjitt Resort & Spa

This was our third visit to Patong and this Hotel is our most favoured. The location is perfect, close to the beach and far enough away from Bangla Road, but close enough to walk to. The staff were friendly and nothing was to much trouble. We booked a Gasalong room, which was just as advertised, very comfortable and spacious, with views of beautiful well keep gardens. But the down side of these rooms is that they all have an extra bed, and there were many children(toddlers)in the majority of the rooms, and from 06.30 it was very noisy outside the rooms and it sounded like a kindergarten school run most mornings.(Maybe we chose the wrong time of the year to go and there was a special offer for children under 5!) Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. The hotel lounge where there was nightly entertainment lacked atmosphere, it only had a few upright chairs(not comfortable) for lounging and having a drink and listening to entertainment..There is a garden bar open in the evenings, which is very pretty. They offer a shower room, if you have to check out and wait to the evening for the flight home. but there are no faculties to use a hair dryer, the shower room is a cubicle in a toilet block around the pool.(Not very good at all, for a good quality hotel) Apart from the lack of a courtesy room which hopefully they may consider in the future, we recommend this hotel and would return.

If you stay on the resort it's fine...The beds were like sleeping on concrete! But the room was fine...breakfast is wonderful! The pools were GREAT...but they closed at 1800. The maid is GREAT! They tell you they have an airport transfer...they DON'T tell you have to pay 800 BAHT. Then coming back to the airport it's another 3000 BAHT! Yes at that point they have you and don't care to help you get back to the airport. I went for snorkling...and ALL trips to snorkle were 2200+ BAHT AND 30 min by bus, then another 30+ min (minimum# by boat. Then you may have from 20 min-60 min of "time in the water" #which is the reason we went.) However...Some of the beaches were so crowded that it really wasn't worth the money...more boats and people than tropical fish...The lunches that were served were very good! They are CLEARLY on island time!....go out in town for day trips! ask for 1 island, and all prices are negotiable!

They upgraded us to a bungalow room by the pool, the staff were very friendly and the location in general is perfect! Just a few minutes walk to Patong beach and all the shops and restaurants and cheap massages! The room was clean and spacious, the shower facilities was great, the pool was huge and lovely. One pool was closed for maintenance but that didn't make a difference to me as the main pool was a large circle you an swim around in, I had a massage by the pool the price was not bad, a lot cheaper than having a massage at the hotel Spa! Would definitely come back! There wasn't any free wifi in the bedrooms by the lobby area was quite large with comfy seating so was able to hang out there and get internet!

Eine superschöne Anlage an einer exzellenten Lage. Der Pool war grandios und die Angestellten zuvorkommend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit hinkt dem ganzen Resten etwas hinterher, aber nicht wirklich störend. Würden sofort wieder in dieses Hotel.

Belles vacances passées dans un hôtel très chouette avec une magnifique piscine. Seul petit bémol, la plage près de l'hôtel n'est pas la plus belle mais en marchant 10 min., c'est beaucoup plus joli:-)

L hôtel est bien situé très calme alors qu il était plein proche du centre ville et de la plage Avec de très beau jardin

Siisti ja kaunis hotelli isoine allasalueineen Patongin rauhallisemmassa päässä. Muutaman minuutin kävely rannalle. Loistava palvelu.

nous avons séjourné 15 nuits dans l'hôtel, aucune surprise à notre départ, le petit déjeuner est un buffet à volonté très bien garni aux saveurs internationales et locales, le personnel est aimable, les chambres sont propres, et il est très bien situé dans Patong, près de la plage, près du grand marché à ciel ouvert, à 10 minutes à pieds du centre de Patong.. Il est calme et il est très agréable de se promener dans le jardin tropical qui l'entoure. Séjour génial, je recommande!
