It was just OK
Phuket is wonderful and Pantong beach is very nice. This hotel however is located a bit far from the action and you will have to get a taxi or tuk tuk to get to the beach that will be 200 baht per trip so it gets old. Also the hotel is NOT four stars that is for sure at most on a good day two stars. The staff is friendly but, something is missing.

Nice hotel
It's a good 25min walk to the beach. A lot of taxi don't know where the hotel is at. Overall it's a nice hotel for the price.

okay for the money
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there are two sides to the hotel, one modern and the other very traditional. I had the chance to have a room in both sides, the modern side was nice with flat screen tv and a more up to date air conditioning unit. However, both of the rooms were dirty and required me to call reception to have the room cleaned again, old crusty coffee on the unit and floor and dirt that stuck to my feet while walking around in the room. Saying that, clean towels every day and bedding changed regular. The hotel is not close to the beach or main life of the city, for me, this was perfect and allowed me to get some sleep. I would suggest that you rent a scooter from the city not the hotel, I paid 200batts a day and got free days too, 2000batts for 2x weeks, the scooter offers you freedom and will save you a packet in taxi or tuck tuck fairs. The food in the hotel was very good and priced okay for a hotel. To give you a good description, it was like a premier inn or travel lodge not the 4* hotel I expected. Room service was quick and reasonable in price and not much noise from your neighbours could be heard. Only issues I had was the call to praise at 4-5am every morning, to say Thailand is not a Muslim country, why they let a man shout loud from a tonoy at that time in the morning I will never know. ..be aware as this is very annoying after a hard night out on the tiles. Very steep hill to overcome to get to the hotel, if you are not good on your feet or with the heat then this will be an issue for you. Afert all that, I would return to the hotel as I had a FAB time in Thailand and in the hotel.

Get a scooter from the city and not the hotel. Also, book excursions from city not in th hotel, you will save a fortune.

Location: It was a bit off the road and up on the hill so it was quite difficult to find (not many people have heard of the name). It's recommended that one should refer to the Green Mountain Hotel (which is better known and only next to the M Resort) when get lost. Room and breakfast: Room was spacious but without view. It did not look as good as the website picture though. Breakfast selection was good at this star-rating hotel. Other facilities: The roof-top bar claimed to have 180 degree view of the Patong Beach but it didn't. The Patong Beach was far away.

Excellent hotel and Staff
The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The location is about 10-15 minute walk to Patong beach with dozens of food stands and shacks along the way. If you are going to Thailand to experience the food, this is definitely the place to stay.

A good walk to the more touristy areas, but still off the beaten path. A cab ride back after a night out is about 200 baht.

Es gibt kein schlechteres Hotel im Patong
Die anderen Bewertungen muessen einfsch Falsch sein oder von Hotel Peronal geschrieben sein. Dieses Hotel ist hoechstens 1-2 Sterne wert. Staffs sehr unfreundlich und man merkt Ihnen an das die arbeit in diesen Hotel keinen Spass mach, liegt wahrscheindlich am Managment. Schmutzige Zimmern und das Essen viel zu teuer. Fruehstueck immer das selbe, keine Abwechslung. Das Personal spricht keine Fremdsprachen und nur sehr schlechtes Englisch. Das Hotel liegt weit abseits vom Strand, ca 40 min Fussmasch und neben einer Muellhalle, bei Wind stinky es in den Zimmern. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!
