Amazing location
Great hotel with amazing views. Splendid exterior but rooms a little dated - though all with new flatscreen TVs. Excellent food and pool - staff friendly and helpful. Location is at top of hill away from main Patong activity but this is a bonus if you want a quiet stay with idyllic views of the bay. Taxis readily available for transport.

Close to Patong but away ffrom it all
Great hotel with excellent proximity to Patong but away from the noise and hustle of it all. Spacious rooms, huge comfortable beds, tasteful interior, large balcony great for hanging out to read. The restaurant there on the premisis was great but vastly under utilized. Wish they had a fitness center, but the pool there was excellent. Price for value was excellent.

Great hotel by all accounts. the
Great hotel by all accounts. the only negative is the fact that it is situated on top of the hill, hence, you must rely on transport for access. they do provide one way transport 4 times a day. the up side to this is the panoramic views over patong. would defenatly stay there again.

I had been travelling all day
I had been travelling all day and didn't check-in 'til 8:30pm and then left at 7am which was a pity as this place looked great. A bit hard to initially find, their directions are good, it's just Patong Beach, I wouldn't mind spending a few days here.

Authentisches Thai Hotel
Während 10 Tagen waren wir Gäste im Baan Yin Dee, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Frühstücks Buffet bietet eine grosse Auswahl, Zimmer sind sauber und bieten eine tolle Aussicht auf Patong. Es geht eine Strasse vorne an den Paradies Beach, die ist aber relativ wenig befahren und nachts ist es total ruhig. Kann ich gut weiterempfehlen an Personen, die die Nähe zu Patong suchen, aber dennoch ihre Ruhe möchten.

Etwas außerhalb
Im Prinzip war dies ein wunderbares Hotel - sehr schön angelegt, sehr freundlicher guter Service, ein gutes Restaurant, WLAN. Der einzige Punkt der mich gestört hat ist die Lage. Man hat zwar einen Blick über die Bucht, ist aber doch weit weg vom Strand und außerhalb von Patong Beach. Dass man dadurch mehr Ruhe hat und nicht der Partymeile direkt ausgesetzt ist wird für manche ein Pluspunkt und für andere ein Minuspunkt sein. Wegen der Lage wird das Hotel nicht von den Minibus-Taxen die man vom und zum Flughafen nehmen kann angefahren, d.h. man zahlt (als Alleinreisender) gut das Dreifache für ein privates Taxi. Und man hat keine Chance irgendetwas zu Fuß zu unternehmen. Wenn man aber entweder Mietwagen/Mietmoped hat oder die etwas erhöhten Taxipreise nicht stören (sind zugegebenermaßen ja immer noch sehr günstig) dann ist diese Unterkunft durchaus empfehlenswert.
