Great location, average hotel

Overall I thought the hotel facilities were average, but the location was fantastic. Nothing to complain about, as the value was pretty good. Just across the street from Karon beach, and walking distance to both the shops/restaurants in Karon and Kata. Excellent experience at the spa. The prices were good and we kept going back for treatments.

Faultless, friendly and incredible value

A hidden gem. The hotel was relatively empty as it wax the rainy season but this suited me and the family; at times we had the pool to ourselves. The rooms were spacious and well designed and kept impeccably clean by the conscientious and attentive staff. The whole hotel was kept spotless. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. We din't try the restaurant for our evening meal as there were a lot of local restaurants which we preferred but the menu was extensive.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

Karon Beach is quite quiet but the hustle and bustle of Patong Bay is only a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away (low season this was 300 baht for 6 people (about six pounds). There's enough to do in Karon and you don't need to go along to Patong Bay unless you're looking for something a bit livelier.

Very average family / package tour vacation

Expecting more for the money spent. On the positive side the sitaution was quite quiet and staff in general tried to be helpful. Room though spacious was decididely average overlooking the pool. Had to pay a supplement for internet everyday, not too pricey but hassle. Pool and gym facilities were below average for the money paid. When we were staying there over New Year, it was full of what felt like package holiday makers. No problem with this, but this was not clear when booking. Hotel was intent on trying to fake we were having a good time. On departure they shoved a free t shirt in our hands whilst taking a cheesy foto to fake that we were another satisfied customer. Lack of smile on my face confirms the contrary. Sense they are more interested in artifically boosting their hotels online ratings than actually delivering on a decent customer experience.

Freshly prepared babana pancake stall from a half thai / indian chap on his mobile kitchen in a parallel street left of the hotel after the parade of restaurants and shops.

vacances en Russie!!

nous avons sejourne 3 fois dans cet hotel magnifique situe sur la plage de Karon. malheureusement cette annee la majorite des clients etait russe et l'ambiance s'en ressentait.Plus le meme accueil. Les Thais sont en train de changer et c'est tres dommage. Pour ces raisons je ne recomanderai pas cet hotel
