Very nice hotel

We have stayed 8 days in November 2011. Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms, very clean. Breakfast is great, good choice. Pools are nice, comfy loungers, water just right. Six tennis courts and gym, what else do you need. The only drawback is internet, which is only available in reception area and is very slow. Otherwise great hotel, recommended.

Hotel excellent, Location a problem

Staff - warm and friendly; Public areas and rooms beautifully clean; Swimming pools immaculately maintained; Restaurants (Sunrise and Bali Hai) excellent and good value. One gripe which is the charge for internet connection. HOWEVER, the location. How shall I put this? If you are middle-aged or older and/or live in a quiet rural provincial backwater, you may find Walking Street one cultural step too far to take. But if you can ignore the experience that is Walking Street, there are some excellent fish and other restaurants to be found.

Great stay at Siam Bayshort

Good stay for a long weekend. Very nice hotel only a few steps off the crazy walking street, but feels like it's miles away in a secluded jungle. Clean, well organized, professional, tranquil. Great swimming pool, breakfast buffet. Beach right across the street but nothing to rave about; more for boating than swimming. For that you need to go farther into Pattaya or to Jomtien beach about 15 min away by taxi. But easy walk to all the nightlife and restaurants.

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Located literally a few steps from the beginning of the "walking street" filled with vibrant eateries, nightlife, bars, discos, live bands, shopping, street performers, people watching, etc. until late in the night.

THE place in Pattaya

This was my fourth stay at the Siam Bayshore and just like every other, it was a pure pleasure. The pools, the staff and the room were excellent, as always. Highly recommended.

Still the best in Pattaya

This was my fourth stay at the Bayshore and I was very happy to be back. I had a room on the first floor overlooking the central pool and loved sitting out on my balcony enjoying the great view, walking through the tropical gardens and swimming in the two pools which are not surpassed by any hotel in Pattaya - even at the Marriott. The location is perfect, being close to all the nightlife, but remaining a place of much-appreciated sanctuary from all the madness and excitement that is Pattaya by night.

Pattaya Siam bay shore

The hotel in very good location. On walking street facing the sea near bai hai where you can get a boat to ko learn island which is most beautiful place there.but this only in sea view rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has good 2 swimming pool. The rooms with garden view are very bad because garden is not clean and has bad smell. The balcony in garden view rooms has many insects. I do not recommend garden view rooms for anyone

No free Internet service except at the robby

I felt I was in the forest and it was great. Inside hotel and outside hotel have totally different looking. Nice swimming pool and good price for overall except no free internet service (WiFi). You will reach the Walking Street as soon as you go out from the hotel.

Best Hotel in Pattaya?

This was my fifth stay at this hotel in the last four years. I love the beautiful pools, rooms and gardens. The staff are attentive and kind. The location is great if you love the mad world of Pattaya but is a luxurious retreat from the street-life close at hand. However, the competition from the beautiful new Hilton may just draw me away next time.

Good value

Great location. Better than usual breakfast buffet. Facilities are old, and my room at the very end of the building with a view of a black top roof was I suppose the worst in the resort. Others are probably much nicer. Room was also swarming with mosquitoes when I first checked in, but the maid left a can of spray and they were not a problem thereafter.

Will Definitely Stay Again

I was pleasantly surprised with the Siam Bayshore. The rooms, breakfast and facilities were first rate and the price was reasonable. My only complaint was that the rooms were a bit musty, but that won't keep me from coming back.
