Relax Off The Beaten Path
I loved it! I extended my stay from 4 to 9 to 10 days total at Riviera. Staff very friendly. I went to Pattaya for Songkram and so I chose a hotel a bit out of the city center to escape the chaos. It worked well. Just a short song tao ride to beach road, but a quiet home when I wanted to rest. Swimming pool surrounded by trees. Beautiful landscape with many places to sit and relax all around resort. WiFi is free, and only in reception area, but my new MacBook Air picked up a weak (and slow) signal in room. Worked fine. Some dogs in the neighborhood. They scared me the first day, but then I learned to speak Thai to the dogs. I also gave them chicken to eat, and then had no problem with dogs. Easy to catch the song tao on Naklua road, but you do have to walk a bit to get to the main soi. When coming back to room, you can get a motorbike taxi for 20 baht (I did that twice) but I enjoyed the walk.

Short walk from hotel
learn the basic song tao (baht bus) routes in town. Easy to catch a ride from soi 16/1 Naklua to Beach Road or coming back from 2nd road to Naklua. A small blurb for my favorite massage place: Malay Massage on Pattaya Klang near Soi 8, has free WiFi in shop.

Nice and Quiet
Hotel is very nice and economical. A very good place to relax with friends or with special someone. Staying at the hotel is like living in a lush garden. The hotel has excellent landscaping. Quite a few British expats were there for holiday during my stay. However for Americans, I think hotel needs to improve key security, which I found to be lacking. I did however notice a couple of Thai policemen providing nighttime security on the premises, but I still did not feel completely safe.

Had a good time
room was average, very quiet and out of the way from beach road and walking street, but short walk to taxi and motorbike rental was nearby. overall it was good. would come back again.

gemütliches ruhiges Hotel
Sehr freundliches Personal Extrem ruhige Lage Supper Parkanlage Suberkeit durchsnitt könnte besser sein. Für diesen preis aber ok
