high expecation poor result
the picture shows great hotel, BUT I was real dissapointed upon arrival! The aircondition worked poorly, the shower room was dirty, house maids did real poor job in cleaning. Shower head was broken, asked to have it fix, they told me it will be done by next day in the afternoon!!GREAT!!HOT!HUMID! and I have to shower using a bucket!!Upon check out, I asked the front desk to call me a taxi, he told me to drag my bags, walked about 2blocks away to catch a taxi to the bus station that will take me to Bangkok leaving at 6am to catch my 11am flight. Was not happy, dragging my bags by myself, 510am still dark to try and find a taxi up the main road! I was a bit scared and worried about my safety, "my busband had left the night before! WILL NOT STAY OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTELS TO MY FRIENDS!!!

Gullivers Tavern is a great place to eat and relax, Hard Rock Cafe great food! Seafood restaurant along hotel beach road!Great breakfas Buffet at Hilton 6th floor, and Mullegan's just infront of Hilton is another awesome place to eat, have a drink or two and listen to live music.
