Citin Loft Pattaya

We booked 2 single rooms but on the arrival we were told that there are none avalible and checked us in a family suite. The size was quite nice : a living room with mini kitchen and 2 bedrooms. In general it was a little run-down - specially in the bathrooms. Very interesting whole suite control near the bed (lights, tvs, air con) did not work too well, the elefant fountain in the bathroom didnot work at all. Wi-fi - very glitchy which is strange because the wifi router was just near our door in the hallway(stuck to the ceiling). Looked like a wery well thought out place but a little in the past... I guess it was a great hotel like 5 years ago... but now the room looks a little old and shabby.

I stayed for two 3 day blocks at about £28 a night including breakfast. I usually stay here when visiting Pattaya as overall it has what I want for a reasonable price. My first stay was in the new part – smaller rooms but everything works. The second stay was in the older part – larger room, shower and bath. I prefer this except ofr the lack of hot water in the shower room. If you switch on the hot water in the basin, leave it to drain, then try the shower you can get hot water using this technique. If you don’t … cold shower for you!! The breakfast is too hit and miss. Potentially it is good enough with a choice of cereals, fruit, Thai food, freshly cooked egg with ham, hotdog, toast, tea, coffee and juices, etc. The reality it that food is not topped up so you can find yourself with no basins, or juice left, all of the ham has gone, tables not cleared. On one occasion at 10.0am (half an hour before the end of service) all 3 staff had left the restraint and stood outside at reception chatting. Nobody was available to cook anything. The location of the hotel is not ideal – up a back street and 10 minute walk from the sea front, but the wifi now works well throughout the hotel with easy on site parking if you hire a car. Overall decent value for a fairly modern hotel (with pool). Could be better if breakfast service was up to scratch and add bacon (even if streaky bacon). They also need to sort out the hot water for the shower. Potentially 8 but currently 7 out of 10.

At the first day we stayed in room no.578 which was very stink. We cannot sleep at all.The reception changed the room for us but next day we had no water. About 8 hours that we had no water. We could not shower and brushed our teeth. And when the water ran, it's very dark like cafe. A lot of people had checked out and two people told me that last time when they were here. It's same problem.[...] Phui. ( I will tell everybody who I know about this hotel. )

un bon hotel avec des chambres de 42m2 ce qui est vraiment un + si on fait le ratio prix /grandeur/service je conseille vraiment. Le coin est vraiment calme, pas de bruits,

Oui cet hôtel est bien placé au centre de la vieille ville, pour ceux qui aime la tranquillité et l'authenticité. Les prix alentours sont plus bas que si l'on se rapproche du bord de mer. A conseiller.
