Escape away!
The hotel staff was so friendly and so willing to serve your every need! Our favorite part was the balcony! They were all set in a canopy of trees - it made you feel as though you were in a tree house!! The pool was fabulous, however, they were in desperate need of new chair cushions. We were a little disappointed in the beach directly in front on the hotel. The water was very shallow and full of kelp and moss.

Everything you could possibly want to eat or do, was right outside the hotel. The location was excellent!

Great romantic vacation
The hotel rooms next to the garden are great, although the ones next to the pool seems to be the same but the exit to the pool and the small sitting area they have seems very nice (probably worth the little extra cost). It is a very comfortable room with all expected facility and very quite. Great air-conditioning which is much needed 24 hours. Breakfast and dinner on the beach makes it the perfect romantic vacation. Hotel location is perfect if you want to be away from the very center of activity and get some quite time, but not too far (10 minutes walk on the beach) from the center of the beach. Shopping, restaurants and bars are all walking distance. Again, you are not at the very center of the activity, but close enough to enjoy both worlds. It is my second visit to this hotel (out of 3 visits to this beach) and I will surely get back to this hotel. Only negative comment is checkout - make sure you allow enough time since checkout service for us was slow (even though there was no line)

This was our 3rd stay at the Muang
This was our 3rd stay at the Muang Samui. It's still one of the best hotels in Koh Samui! We'll come back on our next Koh Samui trip.

Nicht mehr neui, das Hotel
Das Hotel ist im algemeinem ok, leider wirkt es schon etwas älter auch wenn es nur 8 Jahre alt sein sollte. Kein Schirm ist mehr ganz. Die Strand Betten sind auch die meisten schon defekt. Alle Kissen am Pool sind gerissen und auch schon sehr ausgebleicht von der Sonne. Im Pool fehlen einige Platten, anstelle diese wieder zu erneuern wird der Bereich im Pool einfach abgesperrt. Das Personal ist Freundlich. Es ist kein 5 Stern Hotel!!

hôtel de qualité
Personnel charmant, souriant, attentionné. Hôtel très bien placé. Amélioration possible sur le réseau wifi accessible que du hall de l'hôtel et non des chambres. On aimerait aussi pouvoir laisser la clef des chambres à l'accueil, pour ne pas en avoir la responsabilité en sortie. Un bon point pour le coffre.
