MIMOSA Resort & Spa is a small, boutique and familyowned resort; inspired by a combination of South African island style thatched house and Thai odorous flowers. "MIMOSA" is a genus (like family) of about 2,400 species of herbs, shrubs and trees such as Mimosa Pudica, Rain tree and Water Mimosa. The most curious plant in the genus is "Mimosa Pudica" or TickleMe Plant because of the way it folds its leaves
when touched, tickled or exposed to heat. Due to this unique act, people; especially for children always feel good to see and enjoy with their family. Thus, Truly Family Happiness is the fundamental principle which Mimosa Resort & Spa has proceeded continuously. Moreover, "Family" in Mimosa Resort & Spa way is not only father, mother and children, but also it includes grandparents. Ramps and supporting
bars are prepared for serving elders too.

Peaceful Holiday
This was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had if you require bright lights and noise this is not the place for you.The hotel does lay on a mini bus at 14:00 and 16:00 to Chaweng 30 minutes away with all the night life you could need and is a 500 baht taxi ride back at the end of the night. The buffet breakfast covers everything you could need the restaurant is a bit pricey but there are two local restaurants within 400 metres which are very cheap and the Koh Samui Resort next door is a bit cheaper than the Mimosa.
