Each of Al's Laemson's 79 villas is fully furnished with luxurious Thai Minimal amenities in completely modernized composition i.e. A Seaside part of the resort's area is developed into a restaurant with its. Unique characteristic of Ko Mat Lang's scenery affront. During low tide, the dune usually appears as a passage for coast -to- coast strolling pleasure.

A Good Hotel

This resort is very close to the airport, about 15 minutes. The hotel is situated at the top end of Chaweng Beach down a little side street with a elevated sign bearing the hotel name. There are 79 standalone bungalows which are nice. The rooms are bright, spacious and clean. The bathroom was nicely renovated and also included an outdoors shower if you want to embrace nature. There is also an indoor bath/shower in case you don't like the outside one. Overall, the room itself was good. We got a nice welcome when we arrived, staff very helpful. we did arrive in the low season so the place was very quiet. Our only criticism is that even though we were far from the nightclubs we could hear the music all night from midnight until 6.00 am which meant we could not sleep.

There was a very nice restaurant at the top of the street called Seen & Meen run by Willard & Alishar it serves good food, reasonably priced and has some nice touches that you normally don’t get in such a small restaurant .

You can get better

On the plus side: the rooms are lovely and clean. The pool is as pictured, overlooking the sea. On the negative: The beach is dirty and tiny, bordering private property so you can't even explore to better. There is a breakwaer and the water is shallow, so swimming is not good and snorkeling impossible. The internet is insanely expensive and you pay be the hour, and it's only in certain locations like the pool and lobby (compared to Silvadee's, where i am now, it's ubiquitous and free) The staff is rude, which is bizarre in Thailand where I've had some the friendliest service ever. They were neglectful, and seemed to resent me being there. The food is indifferent to bad. It's not really on Chewang beach, so you'll still have to pay a taxi. Go elsewhere.

Sunday in Lamai they close a street to traffic and make a market. it's the best and cheapest food and cocktails around, plus shopping.

Al's Laemson

Fantastic. Sure there are other nicer 5 star hotels and resorts that cost 400 more dollars a night, but the location of this place is probably better. Every picture that you see online [...] on their website is exactly what it is in real life. There's no false advertising!Just don't be foolish enough to stay at the beach behind the hotel. Go to the one across. It's far more beautiful.
