The location is perfect. The hotel is a different story. Reception area lovely, but not as clean as you would expect, got to the room and it was not anyway as decribed 5* money for backpackers accomodation.Eventually got moved but lost the sea view.Staff not friendly at all except for when they were extracting money from you. All in all not value for money.

The receptionists are unfriendly
The receptionists are unfriendly and impolite. The food in the restaurant was poor. We won't stay there again!

Brilliant Hotel and Location
The location provided many opportunities - to sight see and visit (to take in the culture and lifestyle) to relaxing by the pool or in the sea, and then the eating opportunities were varied at the hotel or in the nearby restaurants. Superb location whether you wish to be busy looking around or relaxing.

I guess best hotel of Gold Sand
I guess best hotel of Gold Sand beach. Bungalow was small but very nicely decorated. Service skills still need to be developed further. For example we used their laundry service where a "regular service" meant return of laundry the same evening. In fact we got laundry back 24hrs late and overcharged (they added automatically "express service fee" cause made an inquiry in the evening where our laundry was....and the mess was ready at the check-out desk. However, I could recommend this hotel but recommend to use e.g. massage services out of the hotel area (hotel area cost: 550bhat, outside 250bhat)

I stayed in a standard room, bangalo type, the room is quite small, old and with some insects. The other facilities, such as pools, dine were nice and cozy. The exterior and atmostphere are great. With the promotion price is valued for the budget.

Beautiful setting right on the
Beautiful setting right on the beach and only 10 minutes from the ferry terminal.Stayed in one of the beach side huts which consisted of 1 bedroom and bathroom which was idillic only down side was a bad smell at times in bathroom from the sewers .would recommend the hotel to anyone,great pool area,lovely spa and great variety of food for breakfast

The
Great hotel in the best location!! The hotel staff was very friendly. A comfortable stay. What was breathtaking was the view from our room.. we were right on the beach. This resort has 2 pools both well-maintained. The buffet breakfast is standard fare but tasty. Would definitely stay there again.
