Out in the boondocks
While this hotal is very scenically located on a small lake, it is quite far away from the center of town, with no public transportation readylyavailable. The hotel offeres a shuttle serveice to town, but charge about $10 for the roundtrip. While the hotel alleges to provide nature to its residents, there are no facilities for walking. The rooms are quite nice, but all face the courtyards and the swimming pools, even thogh the buildings adjacent to th lake are calledLake View, something to be had only when entering or leaving the room. The facility is built like a beach resort hotel, with open external walkways, staircases (NO elevator), restaurant and reception - which could be quite uncomfortable in the hot, muggy rainy season. Also the hotel, with its many different levels, would be very difficult to get around in for people with physical handicaps, especially those requiring the use of a wheelchair. The staff is very friendly and acomodating, everything in the room worked well. Since I was not able to find anything on the menu that I could eat based on my dietary restructions. Since the hotels occipancy rate was quite low, they did not have buffet service for lunch or dinner, making it cumbersome to try to peocure something to eat.
