The City Court of the Lanna Kingdom

Named after the mystical creature from Thai culture, the Phaya Naga, the De Naga Hotel uses teak furnishing and Thai motifs to recreate the experience of a Lanna palace in the heart of the old city. The earthy, gentle interiors are a stark contrast to the rugged exteriors of the old city that surround the hotel. From traditional Lanna construction techniques to handcrafted statuettes and paintings, the De Naga Hotel reflects the glory of the ancient Lanna Empire.

3 Reasons To Stay:
  • Located in the central square of the city with easy access to the bus and train stationn
  •  Good view of the majestic Doi Suthep Mountain
  • Duck Leg Confit Glazed with Kumquat Gastrique at the Naga Restaurant
De Naga Hotel Chiang Mai Rooms

The De Naga Hotel rooms are large and classified as Deluxe, Premier Deluxe, and Grand Deluxe. The single suite room, The Naga Suite, has its own walk-in closet and separate air-conditioning controls. Good hotel in old Chiang Mai

The De Naga Hotel in old Chiang Mai has most conveniences every traveler expects plus large rooms with very large bathrooms, and good service from friendly staff. Swimming pool is small but often occupied by groups of noisy children. If you prefer quiet ask for rooms away from the pool. Continuously played muzak also adds to noise pollution.

while eating in restaurants is nice, try to eat at least one meal a day from street food vendors. life's an adventure and if you don't like what you ate, don't finish it...
