Windsor Suites Hotel Bangkok

Windsor Suites No hot water, water leaked all over the bathroom, management was unsympathetic, food sucked, paint and decor of room was old, extra charge for guest in your room, even if a friend comes over for a drink or to watch a game on TV. towels were old, TV and selection was bad, I would never stay there again.. You get what you pay for. Leave your wife at home

Hotel is very old. Room is not clean, and worn out. Most terrible is the washroom. Bathtub leaking, walls, toilet bowl & water sink all have black or yellow stains. Staff who came up to check leaked bathtub does not speak English, so we got stuck with this room for our whole trip, 5 nights. manager too busy to come up, and finally we were told there is no spare room to move us due to full house, and not a single word to apologize. When we booked the hotel, free wifi is included in the price. when we checked in the hotel very late at night, and found out we had to pay $15.00/day for wifi. I did not fight with the staff because we were too tired after a 30 hrs flight to Bangkok. The next day I went to the lobby and tried to reason this matter with a manager, we finally were honored a 5-day free wifi at the mercy of that manager. I have been traveling to lot of countries including Asia, Europe, China and North America. By far, this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed recently for the past 10 years. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. It's only 5 minutes walking to major shopping center, sky train and subway. Other than that, I will never recommend this hotel.

We stopped here in December and it was adequate , this time ( January ) we were put up in the annex so we had to go to the main building for everything we needed .The first room we were offered was next to a building site with air tools vbrating all day long.We refused that room and were given another one ( reluctantly ), the next room was marginally better we thought, until we were woken very early to see we were next to a coach car park and we had been awoken to the start of all there engines.As you go to the pool on the 14th floor you see other floors as the lift stops ,,,,they look totally refurbished but they must be for full paying guests [...] There is no free internet in this hotel and to sort out all these problems I paid for 24 hours internet .The rates are incredible 150 Baht ( £3 / $4.50 ) for 30 minutes , and a staggering 600 Baht for 24 hours ( £12 / $17.50 ), the desk staff are rude surly and arrogant,,,,stay here at your peril

Hotel and furnishings OK. Air Con could not quite cool the room. TV did not work after it rained, every day. They charge too much for internet access. Weatern food at breakfast was not great. I think there are many better deals for this price.

Good water pressure and friendly staff. They also have a nice pool. The rest is not so bright. Breakfast was not included, though I thought it was listed as such. The wifi was horrible. It only reached a small part of my room and cut off and on causing you to login in over and over when it even worked. The room was not as nice as the pictures. I can not recommend this hotel, even though the area is a nice place to be for bars and fun.

It was difficult to get there first off but it is bangkok.The staff was pretty good someone was always stationed at the doors and the elevators.The maid was very nice and gave us a couple extra towels.The bts was close but there isnt much room the sidewalks are so crowded in that area with vendors and sales people standing everywhere.The room was ok we had a room with a couch sink counter and a room with a bed and the bathroom looked nice.The hot water did work but the shower head was so low i had to hold it to shower with.Our plane left at 1100 pm so we wanted to stay a partial day but they charged us for a whole day and it cost us 20$ more than we payed to stay originally ridiculous.The day shift quoted us a much lower price for a partial day then the night shift mgr said no full price and some go figure...i liked it for the location but at our price 45$ it did not include breakfast but there is a small hotel behind there that is cheap and its all you can eat.We wont go back after they ripped us off.

My first visit to Windsor Suites was great: good room, good gym and good breakfast. My second visit was in a considerably lesser room. They said they were full, but I had paid the same charges as my first visit, so expected the same. Not sure if I will choose this hotel again unless I had the room on my first trip. The staff was always nice.

We had a good time at Windsor Suites Hotel, great location, good access to metro and shopping malls. Good night life in the evenings. Hotel was also good, we would have expected a bit more of 'luxury' or 'style' considering it is a pretty big and 4 star hotel. Suites were ok, comfortable and spacious, cleanness average, it doesn't shine but very decent. Also very nice views if you are staying in one of the highest floors (we stayed on floor 21st). One thing: we didn't enjoy the breakfasts very much, always full of people, staff did not pay enough attention on cleaning tables and meals were pretty average. Our advice, have breakfast early as it can get quite noisy and busy after 8.30

The location was pretty good, close to everything. Including transportation: taxi & sky train. Their breakfast was a big buffet and was open really earily so I was able to get a bite before I went out on a tour.
