Great room for the price
I was put in the executive wing, in a large suite for $50. An exceptional value for what I got. The staff, especially the bellhops and concierge were very friendly and helpful. The main problem with the hotel is that the food is geared to meat eaters only. The morning and evening buffets were filled with meat dishes, so someone who doesn't eat beef, pork or chicken has very little choice. They don't have a morning coffee cafe, which is odd for such a large hotel. The pastry offerings were all meat and the latte wasn't really a latte. Except for the dining problems, which forced me to leave the hotel in search of food, all was pleasant. On another note - The hotel is in Bangkok - note Bangkok and not Salt Lake City. My friend, who I booked a second room for, and I thought it a ripe-off that the hotel charges $22 to bring a girl to our room. We rent the room - what difference does it make who sleeps in the bed? Maybe two towels would be used instead of one - but it certainly shouldn't cost $22 extra. I have traveled all over the US, been in countless hotels, and no hotel has ever charged me more for my girlfriend. In Bangkok of all places?????

The style of this hotel is not
The style of this hotel is not good, at least to me. The water pressure in the bathroom is low. I had changed the room and this problem still existed. There are no tea/coffee bags in the room. The tour service of this hotel is good.

they charged my credit card 10.000
they charged my credit card 10.000 baht when i cheked in as deposit and when i cheked out they told me that the 10.000 baht will automaticly be returned to my acount in TEN DAYS. (bad). They charge extra for the gym, the breakfast is terrible, the superior room and the standard room looks EXACTLY thesame, exept that the superior has a welcome friut box and flippers and cost alot more puh. Incredible.

Good location - approx 10 mins
Good location - approx 10 mins walk to National Stadium skytrain. Breakfast choice is fairly good. My wife and I have stayed there a few times and would consider it again in the future.

The bell boy service has detoriated,
The bell boy service has detoriated, not as helpful and friendly as before. Overall, location is near to MBK or Yaowarat (chinatown fr shark fin or bird nest.) Room rates have gone slightly up and you don't see much improvement in the hotel facilities. Breakfast ok but if you stay with room only, breakfast charge of 330 baht is definitely not worth the price. Still a hotel worth considering in terms of room size and location.

This hotel was merely OK. The service was poor on the two occasions I stayed here. Also there don't seem to be any non-smoking rooms, so if like me you prefer your room not to stink of stale smoke, prepare to be disappointed. I believe this is something the hotel needs to sort out. On the whole, the rooms were clean and quite large, but fairly old and tired looking. Just about walking distance to the MBK centre and BTS, so location not bad.

Overall a nice hotel....needs
Overall a nice hotel....needs a little updating however. Could possibly walk from the hotel to places but it was soo dirty and stinky outside to consider it. Good Taxi facilities from the hotel, good prices!!! Bad breakfast however....not a big selection for the westerner....

The hotel rate is relatively cheap
The hotel rate is relatively cheap for the room size u get. The location is out of the shopping areas (5mins drive from MBK, 10mins to Pratunum..etc). However taxi is always readily available at the lobby. The hotel room is very clean and the staff are friendly. But breakfast is almost the same for the 6 days i was there...hope they can serve more variety.

Had a good stay in this hotel
Had a good stay in this hotel as it is a decent hotel for one or two nights in Bangkok. Stayed many times before and will again on my next visit.

Overall not much change in hotel
Overall not much change in hotel appearance as I have been staying in Twin Tower Hotel for many years. Bell boy service did not improve as they don't help hotel guest to flag taxi and assist in luggage carrying as before. Hotel room needs renovation as the carpet and bedsheets are getting old. Daily breakfast is as usual with not much variety change but acceptable. Reception is friendly and if yo're looking for a hotel that's near MBK and Yowarat (Chinatown), this is a value hotel to stay in.
