This hotel is about 10-15min ride from Bangkok. The food carts and little restaurants around the hotel were delicious and authentic (more enjoyable than most places right in Bangkok), although the Thais spoke very little English so be sure to learn a few basic phrases. The staff at the hotel did speak English and were very helpful, even helping us call another hotel in our next stop to make reservations. To get into the city just take a cab to the airport (3 USD) and from there take the skytrain. The tour at the hotel will also take you via cab right into the heart of the city for US 20. The room was clean, bed on the firmer side, western toilet, hot water, and AC. Wifi was available although the connection was a little sporadic. Free shuttle to/from the airport, look for a representative holding a Thong Ta sign neat exit 4 at the airport.

Nice place and close to the airport
I enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was about 10 min ride to the airport. Internet speed was slow (maybe everyone was on it all at once) but it was free so I can't complain.

Handy to the airport so convenient
Handy to the airport so convenient for a late night arrival but early morning noise a bit of a drawback. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities okay and kept exceedingly clean, however the bed has to be the hardest I have ever tried to sleep on.

You can't get much closer to airport
You can't get much closer to airport than this! (Unless you want to stay at Novotel for 10 times the price.) Small, friendly place and good service. Perfect if you have an early flight.

Location rating depends on requirement.
Location rating depends on requirement. If you just want an overnight stop close to the airport, it's fine. If however, you want to use some of the stopover time exploring central Bangkok, it costs 200-300 Baht each way and the taxi drivers have problems finding the hotel on the return journey. The map provided by the hotel is designed to help taxis from the airport rather than downtown ... and the hotel runs an excellent free shuttle from the airport anyway so who'd want a taxi?
