The night markets are on the doorstep, which is great. Markets aside, forget walking in Bangkok. You need to get the tuk tuks just to cross the streets - all part of the fun that is Bangkok... The Hotel staff are very friendly and professional.

Try to have lunch or dinner in the street stalks where the thais eat. is a great food experience, plenty of flavor and totally safety. pad thai is a must to try, and also the soups (tom yam, tom ka gai...). At first is very spicy but after some tries in several days your palate learn to distinguish between different spicy products and to amplify your range of detectable flavors.

Friendly and helpful staff. nice rooms. centric. it´s the best place I´ve ever been in bangkok. goog breakfast, pool, gym and spa are ok. taylor in the loby is very good.

try to have dinner in the streets, where the thais eat. there are dozens of charriots with people cooking soups, chicken, duck... and sometimes unknoun food. totally worth it to taste the local flavours as they use to eat. don´t worry for the cleaningness. even if it seems to be dirty, don´t be worried. everythibg is fine.

close to red light area. hotel seemed to have more business type clients. Pool is pretty but the size of a bath tub. Gym is small and stinky.
