Bangkok hotel with fun retro-style rooms in a convenient Silom location
The Heritage Bangkok hotel provides an extremely convenient Silom location right next to the Chong Nonsi Skytrain station. Add to the mix a retro space-age design sensibility and the hotel takes on a whole new dimension of appeal. Facilities at the Heritage Bangkok hotel include a fitness center, rooftop pool, poolside bar and restaurant. A configurable conference room accommodates up to 200 people.

Nur noch eine Katastrophe

Nach Ankunft wurde mir gesagt, dass keine Zimmer mehr zur Verfügung stehen, obwohl ich 2 Monate im Voraus gebucht und bezaht hatte. Ich wurde mit vielen zum Teil fragwürdigen Argumenten in ein Schwesterhotel (The Heritage Hotels Sathorn) transferiert, welches betreffend Lage, Verkehrsanbindung, etc. keinesfalls mithalten kann und auch nur die Hälfte kostet. Dort waren dann auch noch etwa 10 andere Personen welche transferiert wurden, schlicht überbucht. Nicht einmal die für Bangkok typischen Garküchen waren dort vorhanden. Am nächsten Tag zurück im gebuchten Hotek ging das Gerangel um die Zimmer wieder los... Diesmal hat das Einchchecken nach langem Warten geklappt. Nach einem langen Flug möchte man sich erholen und nicht hin- und her geschoben werden. Ich war des öfteren in diesem Hotel wegen der optimalen Lage. Nun scheint es aber unter neuen Management und Personal geführt zu sein. Der alte Personalbestand ist nicht mehr da. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Das Personal interessiert sich für gar nichts mehr. Zudem wird den Zimmern nicht mehr Sorge getragen. Die Klimaanlage tropfte ständig, sodass am Morgen, jeweils 2 grosse Badtücher benötigt wurden, das Wasser aufzunehmen. Der Reception habe ich dies mehrmals gemolden. Nach der dritten Nacht hatten sie es dann doch noch geschafft die Klimaanlage zu reparieren. Warm Wasser ist nun auch Glückssache. Man fühlt sich als Gast weder wohl noch ernst genommen. - Ein einst gutes Stadthotel hat seinen Charme und Freundlichkeit vollends verloren.
