Though the hotel is about accommodation rather than destination, it does have some extras to recommend. WE MADE RESERVATION ON INTERNET THROUGH [...],THE PHONE#NOT THE SAME AS SENT IN THE RESV.CHECKIN TOOK LONG TIME,FREE TRANSPORTATION WAS NOT AS MENTIONED.THE TOTAL STAY WAS PAID BY CREDIT CARD,STILL WAS ASKED TO PAY SECURITY ADVANCE.NO FRESH AIR THE OUTSIDE DOOR WAS LOCKED FOR SECUTITY REASON.OVER PRICES WAS HIGH COMPARED TO THE HOTEL IN THE VICINTY.BAD BAD EXPERIENCE.AA VOHRA.USA.

hotel was clean, staff was friendly - but expected a tip for any duty performed. the hotel was LOUD, I cant stress this enough - I could here every foot step made outside of my room, the couple in the next room and the crying babies at 7 am.

Standard rooms are rather small. No where to put a big bag. On the floor, means squatting or bending down. On the bed, means having to lift heavy bag up & down, so not so convenient. However rooms are modern with excellent shower where there's plenty of room to soap up without elbows banging the walls, & plenty of space for toiletries. Friendly staff.

Close to Pratunum district for clothing & street market. Not easy to for taxi to get to hotel as one way lane from main street means taxi must circuit around

Not up to Best Western standards
Not up to Best Western standards , poor service levels, room not that clean and staff not helpful -very disappointed. Located 10 minutes / 300m along a narrow alley which is not well lite at night. The free tuk tuk service is only one way and taxis don't want to go along this one way alley. No help with bags and business centre spelt of stale smoke Choose this hotel after looking at good reviews but it fell very short of my expectations.

Excellent option
I arrived early (<9 AM, from an overnight flight) not expecting to be able to check in - but only to leave my bags, while I explored the sites. Instead, I was allowed to check in, given an upgrade (apparently to a room that had not been used the previous night), and thus had a chance to recover from the trip. The staff was wonderful (they apparently respect age). The manager even interrupted his dinner that evening to give me directions to a reasonable source of good Thai seafood and saw me to the hotel "tuk-tuk" to get there. The hotel is several blocks off the main streets and could be difficult to locate (I had no trouble). The rooms were typical of good Best Western rooms in the US, brand new, and very clean. They also had a very good breakfast buffet. Overall, an excellent stay and great deal.

Many of the Thai "restaurants" apparently are incorporated into other establishments. Nevertheless, it was excellent and probably much less expensive than an actual restaurant nearby.

Hidden Gem
The cab took a while to find it b/c it is practically in the middle of nowhere, but once you do find it, it's a great hidden gem. Clean, sleek, and friendly staff. Free internet on computer in lobby is great. Sometimes a tuk-tuk would be available to take you to the main stretch, but it was sometimes under repair. Wifi didn't work so well in our 3rd floor room, and checkout was extremely slow. But otherwise, if you aren't in a rush, a great place to stay for the price!
