Just would like to bring to the hotel attention.Im a Bangkok regular traveller this is the first hotel I encounter that I have to pay for newspaper for self read. Every hotel I went they allow you to take the newspaper to your room to read without paying.

Entertainment hint

German Brewery long beer for food and entertaiment singing show. Excellent place to spent the ESP when you go onFri and Sat.usually iwill go these two nights .

We really enjoyed our stay bent over backwards to. Be helpful. My son loved the pool and we liked the fitness center.

Time saver

Try using the sky train in Bangkok. It's cheap and fun!,

"Not worth it"

Would not recommend Sun, Jan 29, 2012
I stayed at the Lotus hotel the other night, 01/20012. I had a feeling when checking in that I was over paying. The bathroom was not clean and there was hair around the toilet as if someone had sat there to shave and no not their face. Some of the furniture was also broken then when I asked for an Iron it eventually showed up after a second call. Then I I had to sign some type of waiver for the Iron in case I broke it (you gotta be kidding me). This hotel is like a bad movie where you keep telling yourself you should just get up and leave.

Business stay

Would not recommend Wed, Oct 12, 2011
This was my 4th stay at this hotel and I had always been happy in the past. This trip was not as before. Upon check in soiled kleenex under foot of bed. On my third day the kleenex was still there. Second day I was there they did not replace the water bottle . Did not report it because I was checking out the next morning. The next day I checked out and paid my bill.then checked my luggage with bell desk. When I came back they had a sign on my checked luggage to see the cashier. They then tried to charge me for the bottle of water that had never been replaced in the room. All and all not a good stay and I will not be going back to this hotel.

low price for nice hotel

Would recommend Mon, Jul 11, 2011
i visited for a medical holiday for 10 days. i had a basic room which was a little dated but very clean. the hotel staff was very polite and helpful as i had to visit hospital for post surgery checkups during my stay.staff always smile and greet upon entering and leaving hotel.staff accommodated all requests. i will return for another medical holiday and stay at the lotus again. some have questioned hotel is no different than other hotels(about a half block from the main street).

restaurants in the city of bangkok are not necessarily cheap. dont be afraid to eat like the locals.steet food is tasty, safe and most of the locals eat street food. i did both.
