Tallest building in Thailand set amid a shopper's paradise

Visitors with a penchant for superlatives love the novelty of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest building in Thailand. At 88 stories, the hotel soars above the surrounding shopping district of Pratunam and makes it an ideal place to stay for those on a shopping holiday. Even the first few floors of the Baiyoke Sky Hotel house a shopping center. The rooms are a good value, with simple decor and amenities but which include bragging rights to Bangkok's most dizzying altitude.

Rooms

Rooms at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel are of three different standards, in escalating zones. Space zone floors are the equivalent of executive floors, with additional privileges such as express check-in, complimentary welcome fruit and flowers and free buffet breakfast. Throughout the hotel, rooms are decorated with simple furnishings and design, as the real draw is the hotel's rarefied height. In-room Wi-Fi access is available (fees apply), along with typical amenities such as satellite TV, in-room safe, refrigerator and coffee and tea stations.

Features

Surrounded on all sides by markets and shopping malls, the Baiyoke Sky Hotel is a good value for shopoholics. The hotel is within walking distance to several large shopping malls, a night market and local markets. But the hotel is a destination in itself, as the tallest structure in Bangkok. A 77th-floor observation deck is topped only by the open-air revolving deck on the 84th floor (free entry for hotel guests). Several on-site restaurants include a fruit court and a 24-hour café. super Sache

Eine richtiges Erlebnis ist die Übernachtung über den Dächern Bangkocks. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber. Es liegt nache an der Skytrainhaltestelle und ist somit leicht zu erreichen und man kann von dort aus gut die Stadt erkunden. Das Frühstück im 82 Stock ist ein muss und ist einfach super. Die einzigen negativ Punkte, die ich empfunden habe ist die etwas kleine Skybar und der zu klein geratene Pool auch dass für die Nutzung des WLANs extra Kosten anfallen. Das Hotel bietet auf jeden Fall ein super Preisleistungs verhältnis.

Muskelshirt u. Badelatschen

Ich finde man sollte in einem Restaurant,Cafe oder wo sich noch andere Leute (Gäste)aufhalten zum Essen oder aber nur der Unterhaltung wegen nicht unbedingt in Badelatschen Muskelshirt oder Unterhemd rumlaufen dürfen,zumal das Hotel selbst hohe Hürden sich auferlegt hat.

Shopping tip: In Hotel

Vom 1.-8.Stockwerk befinden sich Großhändler,die auch ihre Ware in kleinen Mengen hergeben.Viel billiger als in der überteuerten "Kaosan Road"aber es ist halt gefakte Ware (Adidas,Puma,Rolex usw.)

enorm frukost, kan ej räkna alla sorterna

Endast en natt då vi skulle vidare till annan ort. Stort hotell med enorm frukostbuffe´. Kunde se hur långt som helst från hotellets topp.

Pas déçu

Hotel agréable les lits sont un peu dur mais comme partout en Thaïlande il y a un petit coin restauration du côté du golf qui est très sympa! La nourriture est correcte et il y a une vue magnifique du haut de l'hôtel! Nous n'avons pas apprécié la ville mais ça c'est autre chose

Übernachtung

Hi,ich war vom 01.01.2013 für 2 Tage in diesem Hotel und ich kann einfach nur sagen, es war alles Klasse.wir waren im 47zigsten Stock und dass war gigantisch.Service,Zimmer,bis zur Putzfrau alles perfekt. Sofort würde ich wieder in dieses Hotel gehen...

Viel internationale Kundschaft

Guter Empfang auf Strasse, Betreuung durch Reception excellent. Etwas lange Wartezeit in Rushhour. Zimmer sehr sauber und bei Anfrage prompte Bediehnung durch nettes Personal. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut. Es lohnt sich, auf Aussichtsplattform zuoberst zu gehen und den Rundblick zu geniessen. Hoffe nur, Deposit/Kreditkarte zurückzuerhalten.

Baiyoke

Super hôtel la vue est terrible au resto du 71e a faire absolument , les repas sont énorme ainsi que les petits dej . L accès wifi est cher est pas top . Le sauna payant la piscine gratuite est sympa . Notre chambre était grande propre avec douche et baignoire et le lit grand et confortable bon séjour

Umtrebiges Aber trendiges Hotel

Das Hotel ist modern, sehr gross und trendig. Leider ist das Personal, welches sicher bemüht ist allen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden, mit dem Ansturm der apriori asiatischen Touris welche auf das Dach wollen überfordert. Die Hotelbars schliessen bereits um 22:00 Uhr.

Une fois mais pas deux

Cela vaut la peine d y aller une fois pour la vue imprenable sur Bangkok mais à part cela, c est l usine ! Trop de monde, service impersonnel, on perd pas mal de temps dans les ascenseurs... Sinon, malgré tout bien situé (au coeur de Pratunam) mais accès difficile à cause du trafic routier et le métro (Phaya Thaï) est possible à pied mais sans bagages. Nous préférons de loin le Siam City Hôtel tout près de Phaya Thaï.

Bin extrem entäuscht

Gemäss Fotos war das Hotel genial. schön gepflegt schön eingerichtet und einfach nur schön. als wir dann dort waren hatten sie nicht mehr mal das von uns gebuchte zimmer zur verfügung wir mussten dann mehr bezahlen und ein superior zimmer nehmen, dieses war eine riesige enttäuschung. es war zwar ein grosses zimmer, jedoch die ausstattung war sehr alt. die matratze war mit spannfedern ausgerüstet und das hat man die ganze nacht gemerkt. das morgenessen war übel und das restaurant oben im turm war überhaupt nicht schön und gut. also ich bin enttäuscht von diesem hotel. das beste war die lage.
