Good location and within walking distance to MRT station.Free wifi from room to lobby. Free coffee, tea and the lobby. If the room can be bigger will be much more better. But overall, i would said, is a very value for money hotel and convenient is the key word

New, clean and professional
In Taipei for business (Computex). Royal Palace Hotel was small, but the rooms were larger than expected, recently remodeled and impeccably clean. The service was good, mini-bar refreshments were free, and the Wifi service was solid. Probably the only (minor) complaints would be that the overnight staff had a little trouble with English, and there is no taxi stand or western breakfast available at the hotel. However, both taxis and decent restaurants are amply available a short walk away. And there is an MRT station around the corner. I'll definitely be back next year.

Convenient business hotel
Good location, consistent service, quiet clean rooms, decent breakfast (although they should buy a new coffee maker). The Orbitz rate doesn't include breakfast, but it's only NT250.

The hotel is very close to all 3 Sogo stores in Taipei. The white Sogo has a good toy department for gifts for the kids back home, and there's a grocery store in the basement that's pretty well stocked (but relatively expensive).

The hotel was located in a good area. The MRT station was nearby. It was our first time in Taipei. We used the MRT and buses to get to tourist spots. The staff was very helpful in providing directions to non-tourist and tourist spots. The rooms very nice and clean. Nice to have free internet. The only negative thing was the ventalation. We had a non-smoking room but we can still smell smoke through the vents esp. in the bathroom. Airport shuttle bus was about a 10 minute walk. good value hotel in a convient location.

Fine hotel
Location is good, close to the blue and brown MRT lines. Being close to Sogo and lots of good restaurants (especially Japanese) is nice too. Rooms are fine (average Taipei business hotel), breakfast is good (plenty of Japanese selections).

Very good location. 5min to MTR
