Good Budget Hotel
My room was not pretty, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was accomodating and spoke good English. The breakfast was free, a buffet. Although the food was pretty drab, it wasn't bad. The coffee was really good. The location is excellent, right on a main street and only a block from the subway. I would definitely stay here again and I reccommend it to you. The money I saved was substantial.

Din Tai Fung at the bottom of SOGO two metro stops from the hotel has the best dumplings in the city. The lines are enormous, but I went to the restaurant an hour and a half before I wanted to eat and put myself on the list. I went home to the hotel, 10 minutes away and cleaned up after a day of sight seeing and then came back. In the end the wait was short. It is a real experience to eat thier dumplings. A not to be missed experience!

Taipei trip.
Hotel location is good, near subway station. Staff friendly, breakfast is good. room is clean. The so so side is room small, I think most the Asian country hotels are small rooms. beds small and not too comfortable, building little bit old., Well everything depends on the price, the price here compare others is OK, For the value and location, I will recommend this hotel.

Good for short family vacation
We stayed for 3 days for a short vacation with our daughter. It was good to have room for 3 people with 2 beds, 1 double and 1 single. Hard to find sometimes. Location was close to MRT - very convenient. No Wifi in the room and the wired connection is on the ceiling - not convenient in this day and age of iPad's. Breakfast was ok - not fancy but satisfactory. I like my food hot - and eveything was luke warm. One more bad thing, which may be a Taipei thing not just this hotel is mosquitoes, as I had mosquitoes even at previous stays at higher class hotels in Taipei. My daughter had several nasty bites on her face on the last night of the stay. Poor kid - not a good way to end a vacation.

Not Bad
I came in to Taipei's international airport (TPE) and took a cab to this Hotel. It probably took about 45 minutes. The receptionist was nice and spoke english well so I got to my room without a hitch. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bed was a bit short, but I have come to expect that from asian countries. The next morning I had a passable breakfast and went on my way. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and the free internet was a bonus.

Beautiful rooms and decor in atrium
Beautiful rooms and decor in atrium with nice classical background music. NOTE:this is not beside the international airport, just a regional one. I learned this the hard way and almost missed a flight had it not been for the cab driver who took me to Taoyuan. The front desk verbally told me it was next to the right airport although they must have misunderstood my English. About 8 minute walk to closest MRT (zhongshan jr high school) including walk over across streets. They provide a ethernet cable for free in-room internet. Free Hot breakfast served upstairs was a large selection however the taste was a bit below average. Shower was tiny, i had to crouch, this was in a deluxe room suite.

Good
The staff was very helpful and friendly. My room was clean. My only issue was the bath tub/shower had a very low ceiling. I hwas happy with my stay.

The front desk personnel
Service The front desk personnel speaks good english and are very accomodating. They guided us with directions and are very friendly. We reserved for a superior room but since the hotel is fully booked when we arrived, they offered us a suite instead with no additional charge. Room The room is clean and spacious. We are very particular with the comfort room and they did not fail us. The comfort room is spacious and has a bathtub with hot and cold shower. General/Pricing It is very affordable and offers great service. The breakfast as well is very tasty. With variety of dishes per day. Location The hotel is near the MTR. It is very convenient. It is at the heart of the famous attractions and malls.
