Classy hotel with glamorous interiors and Japanese flavor
The beautiful Hotel Royal Taipei was renovated in 2009 to showcase chic spaces and minimalist styling, along with fine restaurants, a rooftop pool, sauna, and massage facilities. Close to Zhong Shan Metro Station, it is convenient for exploring the city. Souvenirs are available in the gift shop, and a resident tailor crafts custom suits. We had an absolutely fantastic
We had an absolutely fantastic time at this hotel. The pool was fabulous, the staff were trilingual (Japanese, Chinese and English - and who knows, maybe other languages too) and very helpful and the room was amazing. Mind, we upgraded when we got there. The original room that we booked looked fine but as we needed a cot we chose to get a bigger room (they had a deal for 1000 Taiwanese dollars a night which was about 3,000 Japanese yen). We loved our huge room (the bed was the biggest I have ever seen) and the amenities were wonderful. We had L'Occitane shampooo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. The regular rooms had in house shampoo etc. So glad we stayed there. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Royal Taipei
We only had one glitch. I had asked that we get a room big enough to add a cot in it when our daughter and her family arrived so one of the grandchildren could stay with us. This was not done but we moved the furniture around in our room to convince the hotel it could be done. They were very busy and other rooms were not readily avaiable.

Our hotel staff always wrote down the address of the place we wanted to visit as taxi drivers mostly used only the Mandarin Chinese. The hotel also gave us a card with the name and directions to get to the hotel which is what we showed the taxi drivers as well.

プレミアルームに宿泊しました。 改装後でとてもきれいでした。 立地も抜群でどこに行くにも便利です。 食べ物やさん、マッサージ店、スーパー等も徒歩圏内にあり最高です。 次回も利用したいと思います。
