Dandy was Dandy !
My friend and I enjoyed the simple sleek look of the room combined with warm lighting. It was comfortable for the amount of time we were there. The staff was helpful. We did some sightseeing around the city. The hotel was located near many shops, banks, and places to eat. I'm not sure that its the ideal location to be in but we both felt safe. Its not that close to Taipei 101. I would still recommend this hotel for the value of what you get.

Time-saving tip:
In Hotel
The hotel sells tickets for the bus that goes directly to the airport. But, you will need to take a cab to the station which didn't cost much. It saved us some in that, we did not have to wait in line to buy tickets. We were ready to hop on the bus. This is probably the cheapest way to get to the airport.

The hotel room is very compact
The hotel room is very compact for a stay of 2 persons. Other than that, everything is good. I like the free breakfast which provided from the hotel, and the service of the hotel staffs.

The hotel is located not within
The hotel is located not within the service route of all airport express buses. The nearest stop is the Howard palace Hotel about 2 blocks away. Otherwise it could have been much better. Taxi drivers doesn't seem to have a clue of the hotel's location, however this is where the hotel's calling card helps.

Very friendly and helpful front
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Don't be afraid to ask them for any information. They will definitely provide you with assistance with a smile. However, if you are not on a budget, do not get the eonomic room. Its too small whereas the toilet is ridiculously big. But overall, its a good stay.

Amazing Experience
Surprisingly I fall in love with this hotel right after I walked into the lobby. Very stylish, business oriented, modern and perfect for couple or single traveler. Staffs are very friendly and handle duties very professionally. I enjoy being there every moment and definitely will come back for the next trip. But just like all other hotels, you will run into noisy tenants once in a while which nothing you can do about it.

our great adventure!
We were very well taken care of at Dandy Hotel Daan in Taipie Taiwan. The staff all so friendly and ready to help any situation. The hotel is situated in a very conveint place for many differant activities and public transportation. I would recommend to any one.

Dandy Daan is an extremely comfortable
Dandy Daan is an extremely comfortable hotel, design of hotel and room is simply yet welcoming. Staff are also quick to respond to requests and queries. Location of the hotel is about 10 to 15mins walk away from the nearest subway station. Area surrounding hotel is undergoing some construction work (I was there May2010), seemed like it'll go on for quite a while, construction did not create any major noise pollution, but if you're staying in a room with view of the Daan forest park, the construction site is just outside the room window. Other than the rooms with view, the rest of the rooms has got no window.
