- All rooms are in medium size, simple and clean. Most rooms are decorated with light neo colour scheme painting, with good indoor lighting and bright natural light from outdoor, encourage the feeling of comfort for stay. Bathroom small in size, with good maintenance, feature in light coloured wall tiling and standard amenity of personal kit. ADSL access is available.

Very good & affordable in Central Tainan
Last summer I went to the Puyuma hotel, which is in the same part of town, and has a similar room price (USD 50-55/night), and the Lincoln Hotel is superior in every regard: larger rooms, better facilities, more varied breakfast, ping-pong and snooker room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Slight downside is that it's a bit far from the main ground transportation hub (the train station), but this is only a 100 NTD ride anyway. Note that my grades for the hotel are relative to other hotels around $50/night. I think that this is the best hotel in that price range I have ever been to.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
The hotel is within walking distance of touristic attractions (e.g. the large Confucius temple complex) and Hai-An street, which has plenty of restaurants and bars. Note that the location given by Google maps for this hotel is completely bogus. Look for "West Central District" and keep zooming on it until you see the part where the river makes a clean right angle. Jin Hua (sec. 3) is a N-S street close to the river. The hotel is between the intersections with MinSheng and ZhongZheng. Again, a pretty good location, and a very good hotel for the price.

英語でのサイトから予約しましたが、台湾の場合、中文でのホテル名が分からず選択する際不便でした。 receptionで切手を購入しようとしましたが、それは郵便局の仕事だと言われました。台湾のホテルのサービスはまだまだですね。
