you can expect what a 5star hotel
you can expect what a 5star hotel would offer. the location of the thotel is just next to the love river, but it is very far from the mrt. it takes abt 15 mins to the station. the eating places is nt near to the hotel at all.

Great location for visitors
The hotel location is great. However, it is showing it age. It needs to be upgraded to more modern standards. For example the bath room does not have the auto wash seats that most 5 star hotel has it. The temperature control for the room is useless. Decent breakfest buffet and some nice restaurants in the hotel. The wireless is not free. Overall it is reasonable place to stay considering the room charge.

One goes to this hotel: not really
One goes to this hotel: not really for the price, which was reasonable; nor for the cleanliness which missed a few spots here and there; nor the pool which was not even big enough to swim decently, and in full public view; nor the gym, though adequate but small; not even for the breakfast, which was a meat lovers fantasy, (if vegetarian console yourself with mashed potatoes, cereal, fruit and bread); No, one would choose this hotel above all others for one main reason, as was mine; the location. It's right on the Love River, and the harbour view is the absolute best in Kaoshiung, day or night. A river cruise or a romantic stroll are literally available on your doorstep. Enjoy

The hotel is located on river side and about 10 minutes walking from Central Park MRT Station. This hotel is surely my first choice in Kaohsiung. One little complaint is the breakfast; there is no variety of meals from day to day, everything is exactly the same.

A very impressive hotel, excellent
A very impressive hotel, excellent & courteous service, very modern, comfortable & clean rooms. Free internet access in rooms and the complimentary breakfast was superb. We commend in particular Mr Kelen Wong, who went out of his way to assist us with our train tickets. Our stay was very pleasant indeed and we will certainly recommend this hotel to everybody.

The Ambassandor is a good class
The Ambassandor is a good class hotel but here are few shops in the building. It is conveniently next to the Love River so taking a cruise up the river is extrenmely convenient. The hotel is old but clean and the staff are freind ly and helpful. i would recommend this hotel to anyone visting Kaohsiung .

Ambassador Hotel
This hotel is lovely and in a really really nice location right on the Love River. It is clean and neat with great service. The staff could not have been more helpful. The included breakfast buffet was really nice and they even gave us a complimentary drink the first evening we were there. We had the drink on the 20th floor lounge with a spectacular view of the river. It was great. The only problem was that the beds were really hard and so the comfort of sleeping was not a good as it could have been.

A very good hotel to stay at if
A very good hotel to stay at if you have trouble with only speaking English, also some very handy cafe bars and eating places for unwinding the day on near hotel by the riverbank, ask for river view room if possible.
